Throwback Thursday (TBT): 大家有在看大嘻哈時代The Rappers嗎？說真的，我覺得很妙的是，很多次當人家在談台灣嘻哈這個話題時，好像不少人都不記得or不知道我也是台灣嘻哈故事當中的一部分⋯。
當年我回來台灣想一起幫助把台灣嘻哈弄起來，和大支，熱狗，J.Wu一起加入了大馬戲團。我記得那時有多難搞，那時嘻哈音樂在台灣非常的不受到重視，很多唱片公司都抱持存疑的態度。

最後終於我們可以發行了個人的專輯s和MVs，打開了這扇門，所以也因爲有我們這些朋友走過，也才有今天的台灣嘻哈環境。不過沒關係啦，你們知道就好了！但是呢，If YOU don't know....... YOU bettah ask somebody!!!!!!! 😆

So a new show came out in Taiwan called, “Hip Hop Era: The Rappers”. In it, they talk to a few OGs about the history of hip hop in Taiwan and how the culture developed and grew. It’s a pretty good show, but it also reminded me of how whenever people talk about the history of hip hop in Taiwan, people either forget, or don’t know that I, this American kid from Houston, was a part of the struggle to grow hip hop in Taiwan.
Man, back when I first got to Taiwan, the hip hop community was SO small, and the crew I joined that consisted of Dwagie, MC HotDog, and J.Wu worked so hard to share and expand hip hop in the country. I still remember how record companies didn’t understand it, and couldn’t fathom the thought of releasing a full-length hip hop album. 😂 The struggle was real....
Finally, after a lot of hustlin’, grindin’, and persevering, we all got to release our albums and MVs with a major label, thus helping to pave the way for all the young bucks coming up now. Today, hip hop in Taiwan has really blown up, and I’m blessed to have been a part of the journey to get it to where it is now. Maybe bc I tend to keep a lower profile, many people in Taiwan don’t know some of this stuff. That’s ok, as long as in my heart I know. lol But, if YOU don’t know....... YOU bettah ask somebody!!!!!!! 😆

The married couple. So happy for my bros desmond and joanne. They got marry today, and we hang out after their R.O.M.
Known desmond since i was 15 years old. I'm 26 now. So 11 years of friendship! And now seeing him marry the lady he dated for 4plus years. I cannot describe how happy i am for both of them.
Went to ikea and ate a lot of foods like ikea meatballs, ikea gummy candies, ikea hotdog, ikea ice cream etc etc. Maybe a bit too much lol. But still super happy today! Can't wait for their wedding day!

Basho Cafe 咖啡店位於加拿大溫哥華東區北邊的East Hastings上
人煙比較稀少的地段
Basho 咖啡店的甜品櫃上派上了10多款的烘培甜點
有mochi mochi (樣子酷似小蛋糕但口感是mochi的吃的) 呀 餅乾呀
真的是挑戰有選擇困難症的我
Basho Cafe 咖啡店裡的裝潢簡單舒適
桌子椅子櫃子都以木頭為主
還有自己手做的裝飾品
一整個暖暖的色調和感覺
真的很舒服很暖心呀
所以我才能那麼舒服的葛優躺 lol
咖啡店正餐的選擇不多
味道還可以
個人比較推薦甜品 不會太甜
所以不會吃得很膩特別推薦的是綠茶味的Mochi Mochi
真的特別好吃~
要我說遺憾的話
就是這家咖啡店只開早上9點到下午4點
而且週末星期六星期天都不開門...
我很是蛋疼我都是11點多12點才起床的孩子...
是要我怎麼去吃...

Basho (場所 ばしょ) means place in Japanese
Basho Cafe is a cafe located in Canada Vancouver North East on East Hastings
Where there are less people
They have more than 10 types of desserts to choose from from their shelf
Including variety of flavours of mochi mochi and cookies
It was a big challenge for me to choose what I wanted
Basho Cafe is a really comfortable place
Most of the chairs tables and shelves are made out of wood
And there are hand made decorations in the store as well
Very warming and comfortable to stay in
Basho Cafe doesn’t really have a lot of proper meal to choose from
And it tastes okay
I personally would recommend the dessert
They are not overly sweet
So you don’t get tired of it easilySpecial recommendation would be the Matcha flavoured Mochi Mochi
It was really good ♥
One negative thing I gotta say about Basho cafe is that
It only opens from 9am - 4pm
And they don’t open in weekends (not sat and sun)
I usually wake up around 11/12pm..
Or my class ends at 4pm…How can I go there…
