Thank you for all your recommendations on toddler beds! We decided on just a mattress for now as we wanted Arielle to get used to sleeping out of a cot. We also haven’t found a frame that we really like and afraid she may roll off, if it is of a height.
Arielle slept like a baby in her cot. After all, it was where which she has slept for 3.5 years. In her new bed, she now wakes up every night and stands at our door but once she sees us, she runs back into her room and onto her bed and zzz. She’s so funny! The consolation is that she doesn’t wake Aaron up. On Day 1, I told her to just call us from outside and we will come to her and explained that if she comes in, she would wake didi who is a light sleeper. Thank you, Arielle. It’s exhausting for papa who attends to her every night but we will get there together, Arielle! 💪🏻
