【送給大家的聖誕禮物】

如果你需要在家中搞聖誕派對或者希望令聖誕氣氛更濃厚，但又不知道應該放甚麼音樂，我為大家做了一個我的百大聖誕專輯列表！ 為了做這個列表，我用上了整整一個月（加上多年的收集與聆聽聖誕音樂的經驗）的時間！注意這個list沒有EP或者群星精選碟，而是集中於個人或音樂拍檔的專輯（就算是back catalog的碟，也是因為原裝的專輯已經絕版了），而如果是群星碟，也不是精選碟而是新歌為主的碟。所以一些經典精選碟如"Soul Christmas"就不會出現在這個列表當中了。

你知排名這回事其實可以隨時間變來變去，但我個人認為這列表應該頗接近我的最終列表。雖然這是一個個人的列表，亦不是甚麼權威性音樂雜誌的選舉，但我有信心它不會被Rolling Stone的四十大聖誕專輯比下去，而少至我有一百張，足足多過Rolling Stone六十張！

Steve Gadd Band 就在今晚～ 錯過“可能沒有”下一次啦....

STEVE GADD - 1945年4月9日出生於美國紐約州的伊朗達柯鎮（Irondequoit, New York）。七歲時受到美軍樂隊鼓手的叔叔鼓勵開始學習打鼓，11歲時就與傳奇爵士小號手Dizzy Gillespie一同演出過。

steve年輕時受到Buddy Rich、Elvin Jones、Tony Williams、以及Rick Marotta等知名鼓手的影響。進而讓他在爵士鼓上的思維與技巧與人不同,而且在錄音室/音樂會/演唱會合作過的藝人更是不勝枚舉，包括：Frank Sinatra、Paul McCartney、Paul Simon、Steely Dan、Al Jarreau、Joe Cocker、Bob James、Chick Corea、Eric Clapton、James Taylor、Jim Croce、The Manhattan Transfer、Al Di Meola, Manhattan Jazz Quintet、Carly Simon、Jon Bon Jovi、Chet Baker、The Bee Gees、Michael McDonald、Kate Bush、David Sanborn等。其精湛鼓技與高知名度也讓他成為各音樂器材大廠YAMAHA（鼓組）、Zildjian（銅鈸）、Vic Firth（鼓棒）等的代言人。



Chick Corea在評論中曾公開說steve 的鼓- 律動性/音樂性以及技巧精湛。猶如交響樂中的旋律.他把交響樂的編曲概念帶入鼓中,擁有絕佳豐富的想像力及搖擺力。如同上述、他對音樂性與靈魂律動的重視，這也使得他在演出時總是注重於提升整體音樂性的表現。而不是花俏的技巧展現,也就因為如此他成為資深音樂家或全球性大咖藝人最愛的合作對象，所以不論是哪種音樂類型爵士、流行、藍調(RnB)或融合爵士樂，都可以看到他，有慢慢造就出他的傳奇。他曾獲選進入名人堂..柏克萊大學名譽博士..等等..具有代表性的獎項。1971年開始錄製唱片至近已超過百張專輯。

吉他手 - Michael Landau (出生於1945年6月1日)。美國著名的吉他演奏家 / 音樂製作人。他在11歲時接觸了電吉他，16歲開始在洛杉磯的俱樂部裡演出，隨後不久他就與Robben Ford / Jimmy Haslip / RusellFerrante合作演出。19歲時就加入了BozScaggs的世界巡迴演出。20歲時與Steve Lukather一起工作。個人專輯部分。Tales from the Bulge (1990)。The Star Spangled Banner (2001)。Michael Landau Live 2000 (2001)。The Michael Landau Group-Live (2006)。Organic Instrumentals (2012)。當然還有許多他為其他藝人錄製的唱片。

貝斯手 –Jimmy Johnson (出生於1956年) 從小受父母親影響，爸爸也是明尼蘇達樂團47年的低音成員，母親是一個鋼琴家，哥哥也是貝斯手，合作藝人主要是 James Taylor, Allan Holdsworth and Flim & the BB's。1976年他與Alembic / GHS 共同創建了第一個5弦的bass。目前主要除了Steve Gadd他幾乎都和James Taylor一同創作演出等，另他也自1978年開始參與錄製唱片至今已超過百張唱片錄製了。

小號手 –Walt Fowler。從小便在傳奇的音樂世家長大，父親是著名的爵士音樂教育家Dr.WillIamL.Fowler。19歲時便把小號演奏當作是職業，1974-75錄製發行了兩張爵士專輯，1974跟Frank Zappa 還有他母親，1975跟他的哥哥Bruce,Steve,Tom and Ed Formed組了 “The Fowler Brothers Band”

兩張專輯都一致獲得好評。之後開始越來越多藝術家找他合作包含了Billy Cobham,Johnny Guitar Watson,RayCharles,BuddyRich,George Benson and Diana Ross。90年代開始他開始主要往電影配樂方向跨界，他主導策劃了許多電影配樂，如The Lion King, Backdraft, Gladiator, Shrek, Ocean’s 12 and 13, The Bourne Supremacy, The Da Vinci Code, Pirates of the Caribbean 1,2, 3 and 4, The Good Shepherd, Transformers 1, 2 and 3, The Simpsons Movie, and most recently, The Dark Knight , Angels and Demons and The Amazing Spiderman 2 等…2011年他已加入了James Taylor參與巡迴， 當然後續也跟不同的藝術家藝人合作包含了James Brown, Roberta Flack, Stanley Clarke, George Duke, Yazawa, The Doors, Edgar Winter, Manhattan Transfer, Fishbone, Paula Abdul, Billy Childs, Banned From Utopia, Toto, Andy Summers, Allan Holdsworth and most recently Steve Gadd。曾錄製過超過上百張專輯的錄製。

鍵盤手 –Kevin Hays （出生於1968）紐約。美國的爵士鋼琴家。Kevin Hays Trio和 Bill Stewart Trio。六歲開始學鋼琴的他一直演奏至後來進了Manhattan音樂學院，造就了他完整的音樂概念及技巧，之後開始在美國各地巡迴，也在日本及歐洲參加了不同的樂隊演出，包含The Harper Brothers, Benny Golson, Joe Henderson and Eddie Gomez.1994年他與Blue Note簽訂合約發行三張專輯。他的Seventh Sense這張專輯 (1994), 獲得了“紐約時報評選認定為 "Top 40 Jazz Releases of the Year" 。另外在1997年時和Andalucia, featuring Ron Carter and Jack DeJohnette合作時,更被DownBeat雜誌獲評為4顆星的殊榮。1995年受邀加入Sonny Rollins的團隊，之後也受邀加入 John Scofield的演出組合裡。錄製了無數張的唱片..及全球演出！！
