2019-2020の年末年始のシンガポール旅行の12月31日(大晦日)の様子です。

世界の大都市と肩を並べると言われる、
シンガポール・マリーナベイのカウントダウン。
盛大なイベントと共にHAPPY NEW YEARのカウントダウンをする都市は沢山ありますが、
シンガポールほどに最新テクノロジーを駆使した洗練されたカウントダウンは他にあるのでしょうか。

次々に現れる光のアートに終始感動しっぱなし。

このイベントで感じることのできた
「人類の無限の可能性」を信じて、
今年１年やってやるぞと本気で思えました。

マリーナベイエリアでは多くのカウントダウンイベントが開催されていますが、
その中でもメインイベントである、
STAR ISLAND に参加しました。

STAR ISLAND とは、

日本のエイベックスが主催する花火エンターテイメントで、
世界各国で開催しています。
2019年は東京、サウジアラビアで開催されました。
サウジアラビアでは建国記念日に行われたというのだから驚きです！

・日本の伝統芸花火
・レーザーライティング
・最新技術を搭載したドローン（←これが凄い！）
・ワールドクラスのパフォーマー
・3Dサウンド
・観客のLEDリストバンド

これらのシンクロナイズが非日常の
「パラレルワールド」を作り出します。

主催者は、
非日常の世界を創出することで、
人生の「無限の可能性」に気づくきっかけになればと考えています。

シンガポール公演では、

22時30分からカウントダウンまで
約1時間半にわたってショーが開催されました。

2019年のテーマは
