Today, Tristan da Cunha, the most remote inhabited island on Earth, becomes the world’s biggest sanctuary for wildlife in the Atlantic. The Tristan community’s decision creates a Marine Protection Zone encompassing almost 700,000 sq km of its waters, the largest in the Atlantic.

The National Geographic Pristine Seas team conducted an expedition to the archipelago in 2017 in partnership with the Government of Tristan da Cunha and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds to survey the health of the area’s marine environment. Led by Enric Sala, Pristine Seas has helped to inspire the protection of over 6 million sq. km of ocean in 23 places around the world.

With 8.2 million followers on Instagram, Chiara Ferragni is always at her most fashionable self on the streets of Milan and attending international fashion shows. But have you ever wondered how she’ll fare if put to the test while trekking through the sizzling Anza Borrego Dessert?

As part of its total brand campaign for 2017, SK-II spearheads the SK-II “Face the Wild, Face the Camera” Extreme Expedition Series produced by National Geographic.

In the Anza Borrego desert, Chiara takes on #FaceTheWild in the intense, dehydrating heat that strips her skin of the moisture it desperately needs. Right after, Chiara had to #FaceTheCamera for a beauty shoot midst the extreme terrain.

1) Below 100ppl ship expedition: as only 1 restaurant, rooms smaller, but got the benefit for all guests to do all landings tgt = extra time ashore
2) Bigger ship, lower budget type, but good expedition guides (like Quark is a good example)
3) Bigger ship, reasonable price (like Ponant) more comfortable and leisure, more dining option
4) Ultra luxury (like SCENIC), best comfort while on expedition cruise, rooms are bigger 300-400 sq ft.
the ship has helicopter, submarine (extra cost, subject to availability) - unique experience~Very expensive!!
5) Fly cruise (Antarctica21)
save crossing the drake , have different ships (smaller expedition style, or newer medium size ship)
6.) Nat geo oyages for guests. especially those more keen on photography, close to Scenic Eclipse price. Ship is more simple but many professional talk
