Microsoft Flight Simulator เป็นเกมแนวขับเครื่องบินแบบสมจริง ที่ผู้เล่นสามารถบินไปประเทศไหนก็ได้ โดยสภาพแวดล้อมของเกมทั้งนอกสนามบิน แผนผังเมือง และธรรมชาติได้จับมาจากชีวิตจริง จึงทำให้เป็นเกมที่น่าจับมองที่สุดของปีนี้

อย่างไรก็ตาม แม้เกมดังกล่าวไม่มีเนื้อหาเป็นพิษเป็นภัย หรือมีเนื้อหารุนแรง แต่ทว่าล่าสุด Kotaku ได้รายงานเกมดังกล่าวยังไม่สามารถวางขายในประเทศจีน เพราะรัฐบาลกำลังตรวจสอบคอนเทนต์ของเกมดังกล่าวอย่างเข้มงวด

ทาง Microsoft ยังไม่มีการแถลงการณ์เกี่ยวกับเรื่องราวครั้งนี้ แต่ South China Morning Post รายงานวิเคราะห์ว่าสาเหตุที่เกม Microsoft Flight Simulator ไม่สามารถวางจำหน่ายในประเทศจีนได้ในตอนนี้ อาจเป็นเพราะทางหน่วยงานกำกับดูแลของจีน กำลังตรวจสอบเนื้อหาของเกมดังกล่าว เพื่อให้มั่นใจว่าคอนเทนต์ข้างในไม่ขัดต่อความมั่นคงของจีน โดย SCMP ระบุว่า..
