To me, teaching a #yogateachertraining is a very intimate coaching experience. As a yoga teacher training, it is my job to ensure my students to improve on their asana practice and learn how to teach authentically and confidently. But it is my calling and mission to see their growth and empowerment from the inside, to lead them the way to change - not because of me, but the desire for self betterment. This is how sacred a yoga teacher training is to me.
That is why in #empoweredflow teacher training, I insist on a smaller class size (15-20), so I know your names individually.
That is why I ask you to attend classes inside the training period, not in the existing schedule in @yogaroomhk .
That is why I work with @reebiesw who teaches from the most honest of hearts.
That is why I work with @tee.nan , who not only perfects his inversions but is also passionate and scientific with his teaching methods.
That is why I work with @hema.mirpuri who tirelessly impart her knowledge in pre and #postnatalyoga to her students.
You will be give a set sequence and a script to teach, with variations offered for various levels. You will learn how to use the power of social media to promote your classes, so you’re ready to teach right off the bat. You will finish the teacher training with clear sense of purpose and goal, instead being left with uncertainty of how, where and why you should teach yoga.
It’s not an easy journey. If you want an easy ride and just want to deepen your asana practice and get a certificate, this training might not be for you. But if you want to embark on a journey that is worthy of your energy, time and focus that will truly empower you and the people you will encounter in the near future, then I’ll welcome you with open arms.

NGL, one of my main concerns when moving out was whether I could juggle my everyday workload vs handling an entire home’s housework. In the past, I was only responsible for the cleanliness of my own room but moving out meant that the state of my new place was now in my hands 😂 Plus, I’m really not the neatest, cleanest person out there hah!
Thankfully, I chanced upon @dustawaysvcs and decided to give their part-time cleaning services a shot. Right off the bat, I need to say that THEY👏🏻WERE👏🏻SO👏🏻HELPFUL! I usually opt for their 3 hr slots, once every week and that’s sufficient for me in maintaining my place at tip-top condition.
They are able to help out with tasks like, organisation, tidying, washing, cleaning etc. James is also very pleased because he hasn’t had to wash the toilet at all ever since we moved in 🤣
A few tips if you’re planning to engage them:
- Book your slots in advanced as their scheduled can get very packed
- Assign tasks to your helper to complete during the cleaning session
- Feel free to try out different helpers to see which suits your cleaning style (I tried 4 so far and shortlisted 2 that I really like 😊)

以前台湾の台北に旅行した際に食べた人気の台湾スイーツ「豆花(トウファ)」を作ってみました!台湾人の友人に屋台や専門店で食べることのできるおすすめのデザートだよと教えてもらったのを覚えています。作り方をご紹介します!
材料の豆乳やゼラチンなどはスーパーなどで手に入れることもできますし、カルディなど輸入食品を扱うお店にいくとより本格的に作ることができるのではないでしょうか。レシピでは生姜とはちみつでシロップを作っていますが、お好みで色々とトライしてみてください^ ^

【材料】
調理時間:15分(冷やすのに2時間程度)
材料:2人前
難易度:★☆☆
豆乳…400ml(調整、無調整お好みで)
砂糖…大さじ2
粉ゼラチン…5g
[A] はちみつ…大さじ3
[A] しょうがすりおろし…小さじ1/2
[A] 水…150ml
豆の甘煮(金時、黒豆使用)…適量
フルーツ缶(マンゴーやパイナップル)…適量
【作り方】
1, 小鉢などに、粉ゼラチン、水大さじ2(分量外)を入れ溶かす。
2, 鍋に豆乳、砂糖を入れ、中火にかけ溶かす。少しふつふつしたら火を止め、溶かしたゼラチンを加えて混ぜる。
3, バットなどに流し入れる。粗熱がとれたら冷蔵庫で冷やし固める。Aは合わせて冷蔵庫で冷やし、シロップをつくっておく。
4, スプーンで固まった豆花をすくい、器に盛る。豆の甘露煮、フルーツをのせ、シロップをかける。
5, お好みでタピオカ、白玉、落花生などをのせても。

Ingredients: 2 servings

Soy milk ... 400ml (adjusted, unadjusted if you like)
Sugar ... 2 tbsp
Flour gelatin… 5g
[A] honey ... 3 tbsp
[A] Ginger grated ... 1/2 tsp
[A] Water… 150ml
Canned bean (Kinoki, using black beans)… appropriate amount
Fruit cans (mango and pineapple)… appropriate amount
[How to make]
1. In a small bowl, add powdered gelatin and 2 tablespoons of water (not included) and dissolve.
2. Put the soymilk and sugar in a pot and dissolve over medium heat. Turn off the heat a little and add the melted gelatin and mix.
3, Pour into a bat. When rough heat is removed, cool in a refrigerator and harden. A is also chilled in the refrigerator to make syrup.
4. Scoop the beans that have been solidified with a spoon and place in a bowl. Boil the beans in honey, put the fruits and syrup.
5, Tapioca, shiratama, peanuts, etc. if you like.

Brown Sugar Syrup Recipe
10g granulated sugar
35g brown sugar
35g hot water
グラニュー糖 10g
黒糖 35g
お湯 35g
Roasted Soybean Flour Recipe
35g black bean
黒豆 35g
Warabimochi Recipe
50g tapioca powder
40g brown sugar
40g granulated sugar
250g water
タピオカ粉 50g
黒糖 40g
グラニュー糖 40g
水 250g
作り方
1 グラニュー糖を鍋に入れ、カラメル色になったらお湯を入れます。
2 綺麗に溶けたら黒糖を入れ沸騰したら火から下ろします。
3 2を耐熱容器に移して密着ラップをして冷まします。
4 フライパンに黒豆を入れ、弱火で7分ほどローストします。
5 皮が破れてローストできたら粗熱を取ります。
6 粗熱が取れたら磨り潰し、濾し器で濾します。
7 ボールにわらび餅の材料を入れ綺麗に溶かします。
8 手鍋に濾し器で濾した7を入れ、中火にかけます。
9 8が固まってきたら火を弱めて、5分ほど焦がさないように混ぜます。
10 9をきな粉を敷いたバットにあけます。
11 わらび餅が触れる温度になったらカードで切っていきます。
12 11に黒蜜をかけて完成です。
