豬年第一po當然是豬。這家’福臨門’系分支出來香港總店的招牌預訂乳豬脆得不得了。咬下去的聲音旁邊房間都有可能聽到。 肉和豬腳都很適合配酒。
另一預訂名菜鳯吞燕，料足燕窩先放進鮮雞的肚子里再用豬肚包起來燉8-10小時。燕窩非常入味但湯偏咸。
這家的小菜好吃但點心一般。傳統粵菜’戈渣’今天的不夠水凖。
First post in Year of pig should be about pig. The roasted suckling pig of this famous Chinese restaurant from the ‘Fook Lam Moon’ system in Wanchai Hong Kong is unbeatable. The skin is so crispy that the sound of every bite could be heard the next room. The meat and the feet as snacks also matches well with wines.
The bird’s nest embedded chicken wrapped by pig’s tripe soup was well cooked. This dish needs 8-10 hours stewing time with the taste of pork and chicken immersed into the bird’s nest making it very tasty. The only thing that can be criticise is that the soup could be too salty for some.
Other dishes of this restaurant are also quite good though dim sum is only average. The tradition Cantonese dish ‘Deep fried soup stock’ today is not up to usual standard.
