This gorgeous furry friend turned 3 today! One year ago we met and instantaneously clicked at an adoption day organised by @villa_kunterbunt_lantau and @hkpaws_official. She was looking at me intently and wagging her tail clothed in a pink top. I thought she was rocking her balayage smashingly and so asked to foster her and the rest was history. Even though we have only met for a year, we have grown so much together. She has learned to be discerning and that she doesn’t need to be nice to every human or dog, cool isn’t it? I am so proud of her.
She is a rescued dog and having her has knocked down my beliefs that rescued dogs are always traumatized and difficult to train. She was already 2 years old when she came but she learned everything super quickly when we communicated and listened to each other from our hearts. She was toilet trained within a day.
So if you thinking of having a dog, know that there are many dogs out there being rescued. And whether it becomes your loyal friend/team mate is not dependent on whether it is from a shelter or not, but how we treat them, whether with love or not. As when we truly come to them with love, they too will come back to us with love.
