周日，你亦可以參加「大館體驗工作坊」，體驗自殖民年代早期開始的監獄勞動──書籍訂裝，了解大館昔日點滴。首先是「『大館101』× 手造記事本體驗工作坊」，讓你透過「大館101」專題展覽的物品，重新認識這裏的歷史故事，繼而製作懷舊記事簿。另外，「科普特手造軟皮書體驗」則會帶你以其中一種最古老的線裝法，一針一線縫製手造書。
下周二的「美國大都會歌劇院高清系列2019」帶來威爾第《阿依達》，讓大家欣賞多位世界知名歌劇家的精湛演出。觀眾更可在演出當日憑門票於指定餐廳獲取9折餐飲優惠，欣賞演出前後不妨品嚐美味餐飲！

This week’s “Saturday Music at Laundry Steps” themed “Journey of Light” presents several local musicians who are performing for the first time in Tai Kwun! Enjoy a jazz duet by Ted Lo and Angelita Li, an a cappella performance by all-male group Set Tone Men and pop songs by local duo Robynn & Kendy and singer-songwriter Terence Lam!
You can also join our unique bookbinding experiences this Sunday to learn about this form of vocational training in prisons since the early colonial period. First at “‘Tai Kwun 101’ x Bookbinding Experience”, you are invited to re-trace heritage stories with a novel perspective through the “Tai Kwun 101” exhibition and then create your own vintage notebook. Meanwhile, “Soft Case Coptic Stitch Bookbinding Experience” will introduce you to one of the oldest and most complex bookbinding methods, Coptic stitch binding.
On the coming Tuesday at “The Met: Live in HD”, you will see Verdi’s “Aida” performed by legendary opera singers. On the same day, a 10% discount is ready for you by showing the performance ticket at selected restaurants, so come and have a drink or meal along with the great performance!
