Người đẹp 35 tuổi sắp tới sẽ tham gia một bộ phim về Nữ hoàng Cleopatra. Theo tờ Deadline, bộ phim là ý tưởng của Gal.
Patty Jenkins, nữ đạo diễn của cả hai phần phim Wonder Woman, sẽ tham gia cùng Gal trong cuộc phiêu lưu mới này. Kịch bản phim được viết bởi Laeta Kalogridis, người từng biên kịch cho Alexander, Night Watch và Shutter Island.

Bộ phim đang vấp phải nhiều ý kiến trái chiều rằng Cleopatra phiên bản Gal Gadot đang "tẩy trắng (white washing)" lịch sử. Mặc dù các nhà sử học nói chung đồng ý Cleopatra là người gốc Hy Lạp Macedonia, một số người lại không hài lòng về việc lựa chọn diễn viên và cho rằng vai diễn này lẽ ra phải thuộc về một diễn viên người Ai Cập hoặc da đen.

FYI: Có thể bạn chưa biết, Cleopatra VII là hậu duệ của Ptolemy I Soter, vị tướng người Hy Lạp Macedonian của Alexander Đại đế. Bà là người cai trị cuối cùng của triều đại Ptolemaic ở Ai Cập và là một trong số ít các nữ pharaoh trong dòng dõi. Cleopatra chủ yếu được nhớ đến nhờ những mối tình với Julius Caesar và Mark Antony.
Trong lịch sử điện ảnh, đã có một số bộ phim kể về giai thoại Nữ hoàng sông Nile, nhưng nổi tiếng nhất vẫn là Cleopatra của Elizabeth Taylor (1963), được 9 đề cử và giành được 4 giải Oscar.

20/52: The space between

Sometimes we just need to delve deeper into ourselves, in the little in between areas of our soul of who we should be and what we want to be and find the essence that is truly us. It might leave you vulnerable and strip you bare but I promise you'll find comfort in yourself and who you are. There's nothing more satisfying than finding yourself and understanding that the most important thing is to be comfortable in your own skin. Don't be afraid to look.

I know this is like 3 days late I'm so so sorry, I've been spending the past week moving and packing and flying here and there and everywhere. It's been pretty crazy; but I'm back in KL and spending a month or so here so I'll be catching up on my editing and fingers crossed, doing a lot of shoots!
