Hey, guys, this is Luhmann. Have you ever got 1._____________ ? After you get some negative message about you from some people. Maybe through the Internet, through the Facebook. Especially after you have 2._____________ so many things to show your kindness, to show your friendship, or to show your working hard, to show your profession. The people still keep saying that guy, that person is not good enough, that person is evil, he or she is mean, or she is not 3._____________ enough. Take myself for example, about five or ten years ago, at the age of about thirty, you know, some people said that I am not good enough to teach people to use English. They said that I can teach junior high school or elementary school students to wirte from a to z. I was frustrated. I had worked hard on Engslish since I was 18 or 15, you know. And in the end, they said I am just good enough to teach kids or some teenagers. Then, OK, what can I do at that moment? Of course, I felt sad, I felt angry, so angry that I want to 4._____________ those people to 5._____________ . Of course you can’t do that. You will be put behind the bars. OK, what could I do? Say something back to declare to the world how great I am. Of course not. I thought that all I could do is to work hard on English, to prove that they are wrong, to show that I get this kind of ability or profession to teach people to speak English to use this language. And I took all kinds of tests. And now I am preparing TOEIC and IELTS. My suggestion for you is once you get this kind of negative message about you, there are two things you can do. The first thing for you to do is to make a judgement to see if what others say about you negatively is true or 6._____________ . And rationally, it’s hard. I know it’s hard. But you have to do this. If what they say is right is true, you know, is 7._____________ , you have to do something to improve yourself. Take myself for example, what they said so many years ago was absolutey real. I have never been abroad. I didn’t graduate from English department or from English learning or teaching department. I graduated from law school, not from a 8._____________ school, not from NTU. Of course what they said is the reason why they questioned my English teaching ability. And OK, what they said is absolutely right. That’s the truth. And all I can do is to do my best to prove I am better than the teacher, than some of the teachers, not all of them, OK than some of the teachers who graduated from English department, who have spend so many years and so much money staying 9._____________ studying. I have to prove that I am better than they are. And let me tell you, what they said is really helpful to me. Whenever, during these years, whenever I want to quit for one day, OK, tonight I just want to go to bed earlier, just stop listening to English or speaking English for one day or for a few day to take a rest, I will 10._____________ of them. I will think about what others talk about me negatively , and I will do it continually. And I will do it energetically after a hard day. I will get that energy from those negative comments. I really 11._____________ that. I love them and they push me. I will think if I don’t do something I will be worse than those teachers. They have studied English in college for four years. And they even have gone abroad to study, wow!!! How great they are. I can not take a rest for one day.
And the other is what is what they say is false. You know it’s hard. You will get 12._____________ off. You will get very angry. You want to do something that you can’t do. All you can do is, of course, you can choose to give up, to choose to another track. But trust me, if you want to get something, there will be somebody some people say something negative toward you. You know it just 13._____________ time. You just keep working hard, keep working on your field and just let time speaks. Let others know that what they say is absolutely wrong.
So I have two 14._____________ for you to make this kind of rational behavior more easy. Doing these things more easily. First is, the reason why we work hard is partly for ourselves, and partly for the peole that love us, for the people who is on our side. We want to appreciate their speaking 15._____________ of us, right? To prevent them from being disappointed. To prove that what they think upon us is absolutely right. We are so great.

Kongish?
I think it's a variety of English that I fell into,可能是大學那幾年的耳濡目染,覺得英國來的law professor Philip Smart的說話台風好L型,也可能是聽Stephen Fry的故事錄音聽得多。 所以,我決定唔rationally argue for my choice了。
