An interview I did earlier as part of our company's employer branding project.
“In 2008, I was a foreign correspondent in Shanghai when the Sichuan Earthquake happened. We flew there and it was unforgettable because it was the first time I experienced multiple aftershocks. There was so much destruction and the human stories were heartbreaking. I was there as a witness and I take it as a great responsibility to be able to bring news to the public, and I don’t take that lightly. When I was a girl, my family would always watch the 9pm news together. I remember pointing to the newscaster and telling my dad that one day I was going to be just like her. My parents were unconventional in that they allowed me to go overseas to study broadcast journalism. At that time, the default route was to go into accounting, engineering or business. Not journalism. After graduating, I spent a year in New York, waiting for calls from the big TV networks. Like most people, I did waitressing to earn pocket money! reporter的中文意思是記者，
但是還有別的字意嗎？
尤其是我可以用來指＂報告的人＂嗎？
因為一些powerpoint上的英文簡報，
有人會把報告人寫在reporter。
改用,：speaker會比較好嗎？
