Creative Assembly ได้ประกาศอย่างเป็นทางการเมื่อวานนี้ว่า สิ้นสุดการพัฒนาเนื้อหา DLC ต่างๆ ให้กับ Total War: THREE KINGDOMS เป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว หลังจากวางจำหน่ายมายาวนานถึง 2 ปี และในตอนนี้กำลังจะย้ายไปทำโปรเจ็กต์ใหม่ที่ดัดแปลงมาจากนิยาย Romance of the Three Kingdom หรือ สามก๊ก ต่อไป

โดยทางผู้พัฒนากล่าวในวิดีโอ Dev Diary ล่าสุดว่า เนื้อหาคอนเทนต์ของ THREE KINGDOMS นั้นเสร็จสมบูรณ์แล้ว หลังจาก Fates Divided ซึ่งเป็น Expansion ล่าสุดของตัวเกมวางจำหน่ายเมื่อเดือน มี.ค. ที่ผ่านมา

"ในตอนนี้เป็นเวลาที่จะต้องหันความสนใจไปยังโปรเจ็กต์ใหม่ ในเรื่องราวอิงประวัติศาสตร์ที่น่าตื่นเต้นนี้"

ซึ่งคุณ Lulu Zhang ผู้กำกับศิลป์ได้เข้ามากล่าวเสริมว่า ทีมพัฒนา Three Kingdoms ที่ Creative Assembly ในตอนนี้ได้ย้ายไปสู่ขั้นตอนการทำ Pre-production สำหรับเกมถัดไปในจักรวาลสามก๊กแล้ว และทำให้พวกเขาได้โอกาสอันสดใหม่ในการสร้างเกมภายในโลกที่น่าทึ่งนี้

Marvelous ได้เปิดเผยรายละเอียดและภาพตัวอย่างชุดใหม่ของ Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town ที่เป็นการแนะนำรายละเอียดต่างๆ ในเกม รวมไปถึงตัวละครหน้าใหม่ที่สามารถจีบได้
.
โดยในภาคนี้จะมีระบบการถ่ายรูปสัตว์หรือแมลงเพื่อนำไปส่งให้กับพิพิธภัณฑ์ในเมืองได้ รวมถึงผู้เล่นสามารถทำฟาร์มได้ใหญ่ที่สุดเท่าที่เกมในซีรีส์นี้เคยทำได้
