What did you do this pandemic?

🤗 Mission 100
During this pandemic its wasn't easy for many, some decided to end their lives, and more trying to survive on a daily basis.

Mission 100 is a mission I have pledge myself to give assistance to at least one hundred (100) families.

The first mission providing food aids started in July 2021 with a few friends and support from clients, colleagues and family & friends. In Cash and in goods. 💐💯

Places delivered and visited (organised through 🌸 personal & also associations - 🌺 Trefoil Guild Malaysia - Sabah Branch | 🌹 中华旗袍协会国际联盟 World Chinese Cheongsam Alliance )
1) Kg Saga, near One Borneo - 30 families (affected by pandemic)
2) Kg Babah, Penampang - 18 families (Flood victims)
3) Girl Guides members (25 families)
4) Kg Pulau Penampang, near One Borneo (30 families)
5) Kg Natai, Telipok (30 families)

Its more than 100 families throughout this three months.

Through all the missions, we went through strangers calling our mobile, in which somehow kindness do need patience and genuine background checking. So many to story about, if we started from scratch.

Lives is a journey to learn.

子育てで使える英語！「もうお兄ちゃん・お姉ちゃんなんだから」は英語で？

兄弟がいる家庭では、ついつい兄弟げんかをしている子供に向かって「もうお兄ちゃん・お姉ちゃんなんだから！」と言ってケンカの仲裁をしたり、上の子を叱ってしまうことがあると思います。今回はそんな時、英語で一般的に使われる表現をご紹介したいと思います。

1) You're a big boy / girl
→「もうお兄ちゃん・お姉ちゃんなんだから」

子育て中の親御さんの中には、「お兄ちゃんなんだから、弟におもちゃを貸してあげなさい！」、「お姉ちゃんなんだから、ちゃんと野菜を食べなさい！」などと子供に対して言ったことがある人も多いのではないでしょうか。この表現をそのまま英語に直訳すると「You're the older brother/sister」になりますが、実は英語ではbrotherやsisterは使わずにシンプルに「You’re a big girl/boy」と表現します。
　
✔「Big boy/girl」は一般的に小学生くらいまでの子供に対して使われ、中学生以上の子供に対しては「Big brother / sister」や「You're older（あなたの方が年上なんだから）」が用いられる。
　
✔その他、「Big brother / sister」と「You're older」は、妹弟のわがままな行動を兄姉に我慢してほしい時にも使われる。
　
＜例文＞
　
It’s just a tiny scratch, stop crying, you’re a big boy.
（たかが擦り傷だよ。もうお兄ちゃんなんだから、泣くのはやめなさい。）
　
You cleaned up all by yourself? You’re such a big girl!
（自分で片づけたの？もうお姉ちゃんだね！）
　
I know you wanted the blue one, but it’s just an umbrella. Be the nice big brother and let him have it please.

A turbulent journey of a girl travelling across the globe with high hopes & aspirations to seek life to it's fullest only for her dreams to be short lived and forced her to be confined indoors due to the pandemic which then restricted her to live normally again especially when there is no tell when the outbreak will subside. This music video is an invitation to come along on a rollercoaster ride of emotion that enriches the concept of life. A narrative created for the Carmarthen Bay Film Festival.

Personally, this is the most raw piece of filmmaking I have ever done because you will see the happiest and lowest I have ever been in my life. It was my privilege to share this story with you especially in the midst of this historic mark that affected the whole world. When I was editing this for the first time, I literally took 2 hours just to get myself together and not break down. This was an ongoing process till today (I'm much better now, don't worry hehe)

Initially the narrative for Better Half was supposed to be a love story that speaks on the levels of how complicated a relationship can be and to understand the depth of love, better. However, I had to scratch that idea out because my actors and my team had to go our separate ways due to the virus outbreak and social distancing.

Although the process went downhill, I think Better Half was told in it's best version now and I am so proud how it was constructed. I hope this music video gives some sort of inspiration to all of you that even though life will knock you down in the most unimaginable way possible, there is still light at the end of the tunnel. We just need to be brave to find it.
