[伊亞小分享---無穀飼料對狗狗有幫助嗎 ? ]

🔷幫寵物選擇食物往往是一個難題，
美國每年寵物食品市場的產值就高達300億，
然而數十家的寵物食品公司
往往專注於廣告行銷，
而且追隨流行趨勢，
儘管流行的食物不一定對寵物比較好，
其中無穀飼料就是其中一種超夯食物。

🔷為什麼要小心無穀飼料 ?
過去幾十年來，
美國的獸醫心臟專科醫師發現
擴張性心肌病的病患有越來越多的趨勢，
過去此疾病通常只在某些特異品種出現，
如今卻在非好發品種也發現多個病例，
因此美國食品藥品監督管理局 (FDA)
開始介入調查。

🔷FDA發現了什麼 ?
從2014年一月到2019年四月間，
總共收集了515個案例，
其中有90%的病患是吃無穀飼料，
93%的病患食物中含有碗豆或扁豆。
然而分析這些食物中的礦物質、
重金屬、胺基酸等含量卻又沒有發現異常。

🔷這些發現到底代表著什麼呢 ?
目前並"沒有"直接的證據證明
無穀飼料和擴張性心肌病的直接相關性，
但是臨床上有許多病患
停掉無穀飼料或補充牛磺酸後，
病況獲得到良好的控制甚至是痊癒，
雖然不清楚其中的絕對關連性，
只能假設一個可能...
單純吃無穀飼料的狗狗，
似乎較容易有擴張性心肌病。

🔷如果我的狗狗正在吃無穀飼料，有什麼要注意的嗎 ?
定期找獸醫師檢查是否有心臟方面的問題。

🔷到底要如何幫寵物選擇食物呢 ?
獸醫師通常會比寵物店店員給你更好的建議，
也可以參考世界小動物醫學協會的建議來選擇食物喔 !
