The second the phone vibrates, I still think that it is you who texted me.
But I forgot that we wouldn’t be texting anymore because the end of a relationship means a cease in maintaining the relationship.
Perhaps ending the texting can get the concept of “us” out of our minds.

Memories can be deleted in our phones or social media platforms, but not in our heads.
