True story: Occasionally, I make YouTube videos. You know that already, I hope. A banh mi shop in Alhambra played my videos on a screen. A director walked in and caught a glimpse of my videos. A few days later I uploaded a video of a motorbike attendant singing funny songs in the parking lot. I wasn't going to upload it. Producers contacted me. The motorbike attendant was flown down to Saigon. He had never ever been on a plane, traveled outside of Central Vietnam, stayed in a hotel, or perform to an audience of a couple hundred while sharing the stage with two of Vietnam's most popular female rappers, Kimmese and Suboi. Oh, and this project was created by the Gregory Brothers, the people behind Songify the News, Double Rainbow Song, and Bed Intruder (He's climbing in your windows... hide yo kids, hide yo wives), which I used to play on repeat in college.
