Receive From God in Times of Prayer
“In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
If you are handling stressful situations, remember to pray in tongues and cast that stress unto the Lord.
We have a tendency to be lazy to pray, and to just power through by our fleshly strength. Prayer is often seen as nice to have, or as a last resort. This is not the best way.
Back then, Jesus had many demands placed on Him. He had to minister to multitudes, and in the natural, that is very tiring.
We know that even Jesus got tired because He fell asleep in the boat, amidst the storm.
Jesus had a special way to recharge after dealing with highly-demanding situations. He spent a lot of time alone in the mountains to spend time with the Father in prayer.
“In these days, he went out to the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God. When it was day, he called his disciples, and from them he chose twelve, whom he also named apostles: Simon, whom he also named Peter; Andrew, his brother; James; John; Philip; Bartholomew; Matthew; Thomas; James, the son of Alphaeus; Simon, who was called the Zealot; Judas the son of James; and Judas Iscariot, who also became a traitor. He came down with them, and stood on a level place, with a crowd of his disciples, and a great number of the people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; as well as those who were troubled by unclean spirits, and they were being healed. All the multitude sought to touch him, for power came out of him and healed them all.” (Luke 6:12-19 WEB)
I believe that Jesus loved going to the mountains so that He could be ever so slightly closer to the Father. He missed being next to the Father in Heaven.
Another reason is that the mountain is desolate and with no distractions.
Spend time with God in many hours of prayer, away from your smartphone, and you will see amazing transformations happen.
When Jesus came down from the mountain, He was fully recharged, able to make right decisions quickly, and the power of the Holy Spirit easily flowed out from Him. Everyone who heard Jesus and touched Him received healing.
When handling stressful situations, if you do not pray, you will be drained. Even if you do not feel like it at first, spend time praying in tongues and with the understanding. Wake up an hour earlier if you have no time.
You will emerge from these sessions full of the anointing upon you, enabling you to handle the demands easily by God’s power and wisdom.
“But this is what has been spoken through the prophet Joel: ‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams. Yes, and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days, I will pour out my Spirit, and they will prophesy.” (Acts 2:16-18 WEB)
I believe we are in the tail end of the last days, and God is definitely pouring out His Spirit on all flesh. Position yourself to receive prophecy, dreams, and visions from the Lord. Make time to pray!
How do we receive more miracles from God? How does receiving by faith work under the New Covenant of Grace? These questions and more are answered in my book “Messiah’s Miracles: The Power of Having Faith in Jesus Christ” which is available in both digital and paperback formats.
=================================
--------------------------------------------------
1) Come rain or shine
✔「Rain or shine」
<例文>
Come rain or shine, I'll be there.
I run every morning, rain or shine.
We'll go golfing this weekend, come rain or shine.
--------------------------------------------------
2) When it rains, it pours
<例文>
Nothing is going right today. When it rains, it pours.
I'm having the worst day of my life. When it rains, it pours.
I ended my day by getting a speeding ticket. When it rains, it pours.
--------------------------------------------------
3) Weather the storm
<例文>
I managed to weather the storm.
Peter got laid off last year but somehow he weathered the storm.
It's going to be tough but we have to ride out the storm.
--------------------------------------------------
4) Take a rain check
✔基本的に、「I’ll take a rain check」もしくは「Can I take a rain check?」
<例文>
I'd love to go but I have work tonight. I'll take a rain check. We'll grab drinks next week.
Sorry, I'm busy tomorrow. Can I take a rain check on that?
Unfortunately I can't make it to dinner tomorrow but can I take a rain check on that?

The calm before the storm. Chilling out before our 6 hour race tonight at 6pm. We’ve done two days of testing here at @utahmotorsportscampus The car feels great and this track is pretty amazing we are ready to go! The facilities and staff here are great. If you ever have a chance to drive this track, you will definitely enjoy it. Other than the intense heat, I like Utah more and more. Whoever saw my last post and called the racetrack to express concern, thanks for that but it wasn’t that serious. I still have the poison ivy rash but it’s getting better. I think I will take a nap later this afternoon. #racelife #studentdriver @toyotires @teamtoyousa @hingwaleejewelers @greddyperformance @seiboncarbon @ptp_ek9 @impressivewrap @pth_racing_oil @tottisracing @efm.racing @titan7wheels

The second collaboration piece with @呉竹Kuretake , this time painted using their Kuretake Gansai Tambi 48 "顔彩耽美" colors set! This was an exciting challenge to try - I want to get better at painting trees and especially thick forest-like scenes like this one. This picture had only really light underdrawing and no lines.
Tools:
- Kuretake Gansai Tambi 48 "顔彩耽美" colors set.
- Waterford White 300g/m cold pressed paper.
This is also my entry to the #worldwatercolormonth2021 ! I will not be doing all the prompts, but let's say that this piece is for the "breathe" prompt.
We were recently able to go to a Japanese garden that's located really close to our house. It was temporarily closed due to the pandemic, but it opened when the stricter rules were lifted (now, if you want to go, you have to reserve a ticket - this prevents crowds.) On the day we went, it rained a lot in the morning - we had an excellent storm for the first time this summer - so the green of the plants was intensive! I took a lot of photos and tried my best to recreate this humid and green atmosphere.
Thanks to Kuretake for sending me these awesome tools to play with 👍
