Our next nature walk brought us to Hampstead Wetlands Park, woohoo!

Despite the hot weather, it was nice to take a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk and nature trail as we admired the flora and fauna. We saw turtles, ducks, spiders, dragonflies, snails, birds, ants and more.

It took us less than 40min to complete the trail as the park is not huge at just over three hectares. The highlight of the day was discovering a spot where there were plenty of saga seeds to pick as this is something that the kids have always enjoyed. Yup, I guess our collection of 相思豆 is gonna get bigger and bigger.

We also stopped by the the aeroplane themed playground at the Oval, which is in Seletar Aerospace Park, and the kids had a good time on the saucer swing and spiral slide.

Just before we left, we played a game of human 飞行棋 (Aeroplane Chess) although it was scorching hot in the early afternoon by then. My phone had run out of battery at that point but perhaps it was also a good reminder for me to put away the device once in a while so that I can truly be present and enjoy the most of the moment with my little ones.

We departed from BTS Saladeang Station and took a walk around Silom.
In the past, many stalls used to open in the evening, but now there are very few.
The market seemed to be closed on this day, and there were very few stores open.
There used to be a lot of Japanese restaurants in Silom, but since 2021, more and more of them have stopped operating or moved.
After eating the ramen, I walked from Surawong Road to the dormant night market.
The street was very deserted, and even though it was P.M. 7 o'clock, it was dark and quiet as if it was midnight.

Why don't you take a leisurely stroll around Siam on the weekend?
There are stores in many places in SIAM.
Many of the stores are aimed at young people and sell cute clothes and fashion items.
If you get hungry, you may want to take a break and have a meal.
SIAM SQARE ONE has a Street Food Zone and a Restaurant Zone where you can grab a bite to eat.

Rotfai Night Market is a large night market located about 3 minutes walk from Mrt Thai Caltural Center Station.
Since its reopening, more and more stores have been opened to attract young people and families living in Bangkok.
There are many stores where you can buy cute and fashionable clothes and fashion items at moderate price ranges.
It's fun to just take a leisurely stroll.
