城鄉永續發展— #橫洲規劃設計比賽 Urban and Rural Co-existence – Planning and Design Competition in Wang Chau
立法會議員姚松炎及朱凱迪一直關注香港土地發展議題，致力推動公民參與公共事務，因此今次特別舉辦「城鄉永續發展 - 橫洲規劃設計比賽」，旨在喚起社會大眾的關注，收集民間具建設性的建議，以向立法會反映。比賽的宗旨如下︰
- 提升大眾對新市鎮規劃發展之認識
- 引起大眾對香港現時規劃的反思及對未來城市規劃的願景
- 探討過程中的關注事項及對持份者的影響
參賽者制定規劃設計方案時須包括（但不限於）以下內容：
- 規劃背景
- 規劃目的及概念
- 規劃藍圖
- 土地用途分佈
- 相關政策倡議

Members of the Legislative Council, YIU Chung-yim and Chu Hoi-dick, have been concerned about the land issues in Hong Kong. We are calling for greater civic participation in public affairs. The competition of “Urban and Rural Co-existence – Planning and Design Competition in Wang Chau” is held to collect public views on following topics:
- the process of new town planning and development
- planning vision and strategy for Hong Kong
- different interests of stakeholders
Land development is closely related to the people's livelihood. The theme of the competition is " Urban and Rural Co-existence", which encourages young professionals and interests to build an ideal Wang Chau. We may submit the winning proposal to the Legislative Council.
Participants need to consider the following issues and provide innovative ideas in their design proposals.
Participants need to provide but not limited to the following:
- Project background
- Objectives and concepts
- Master plan
- Land use pattern
- Relevant policies suggestions
