How God Can Bless and Multiply You
“For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he could swear by no one greater, he swore by himself, saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” Thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise. For men indeed swear by a greater one, and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation. In this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath; that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil; where as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.” (Hebrews 6:13-20 WEB)
God wanted Abraham to be absolutely sure that He would bless him, so He swore by Himself.
The truth that is impossible for God to lie and His sworn oath gives us a doubly confident hope of receiving His blessing as the seed of Abraham.
When tough times come, just remember that our God who cannot lie has sworn to bless and multiply you, and He is surely doing it.
Even when the world is floundering and men’s hearts are melting because of fear, we can remain stable and unshaken because Jesus is our anchor. He keeps us in shalom peace and leads us to navigate through any storm.
Right now in Heaven, Jesus our high priest is with the Father, praying for us, representing us before the Father.
Whereas the Levitical priesthood under the Law had curses upon those who disobey God’s laws, Jesus’ priesthood after the order of Melchizedek is one that only bestows blessings.
Melchizedek brought the bread and wine to Abraham, and blessed Abraham. In Christ, we are the seed of Abraham, and we can receive God‘s blessings through the same pattern.
Partaking of the Lord’s Supper is such a precious and important time of our day. As we set aside a minute in our day to proclaim the Lord’s death and what that accomplished for us, we benefit from His victory wrought at the cross.
“The cup of blessing which we bless, isn’t it a sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn’t it a sharing of the body of Christ?” (1 Corinthians 10:16 WEB)
The apostle Paul called it “the cup of blessing”. Could it be that when we partake, we receive the fulfillment of God’s oath to bless and multiply us? I believe so.
The blood and body of Christ are full of divine life, and when we receive that, we experience close fellowship and identification with Him. This means “I am as You are.” Whatever Jesus is, you also become and have.
If you are not already making the Lord’s Supper the highlight of every day, I encourage you to prioritize this token of Jesus’ love, and see what wonderful things happen in your life!

Guard Your Heart with Psalm 91
“I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked. Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.” (Psalms 91:2-12 WEB)
Remember that true protection comes from the Lord. Meditate on the Scriptures and confess them over yourself and your loved ones. Guard your heart from the fear and worry that is being perpetuated by the media.
When you believe and speak God’s word, God’s power is released in that related area of your life. His words are spirit and life, not just inanimate ink on a page.
A refuge is a place that you flee to after being attacked, while a fortress is a place you can preemptively position yourself to be far from the enemy.
Whether you have been attacked or not, Jesus is your source of safety, protection, and healing.
Someone may say, “What about those Christians that got it? So many in that local church got sick. How can God’s promises be true?”
Well, one needs to believe in God’s promises before he will experience it. They do not manifest for a Christian who is unbelieving and stricken by fear.
We do not know their state of mind at the time when they fell sick, and what their local church teaches about God’s protection. Some do not believe in it.
I like that Psalm 91 specifically shows that we can believe God for protection from everything that the world is afraid of nowadays. We do not have to guess God’s will in this case—it is plainly written.
Even if you hear of news about people getting sick in your neighborhood, God’s word remains true: a thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.
The enemy probably hates it when you believe this. “What makes you think you are so special? Others are dying and in critical condition, and you have the cheek to say that it cannot come near you?”
You are specially protected if you believe in God’s promises. You are a sanctified child of God who has access to His protection by faith. His angels will be mobilized to guard you in all your ways, to destroy every weapon of the enemy near you.
Sometimes, believers who just stumbled and sinned feel unworthy of experiencing God’s protection. They feel like the hedge of protection has been lifted because they sinned and that God does this to teach them a lesson.
That is a false assumption that is not true under the New Covenant of Grace. Committing sin can cause your conscience to accuse you, but we must know that Grace is all about believing in what Jesus has done at the cross.
You can enjoy God’s protection from all manner of harm because Jesus shed His blood to make you forever righteous and favored in God’s sight. Protection is not a reward that you have to earn through good behavior. It is freely given as part of the salvation package—but you must believe in order to enjoy it!
Actionable Steps:
1. Meditate on Psalm 91 today and see which portion of it resonates deeply with you. Keep it in your heart and mutter it with your mouth throughout the week ahead.
2. Include words from Psalm 91 in your daily prayers for your family in the morning. Before everyone sets off for work or school, take time to tune everyone’s heart to be conscious of God’s lavish protection.
3. Look out for anyone you come across that feels unsafe or fearful because of the current situation. Encourage them with promises from Psalm 91 and tell them that Jesus loves them. There is always a good time to plant seeds of the Gospel in people’s hearts.
Our Patreon community is currently on a Bible Study series called “The Way Forward: How to Thrive Amidst Change”.
In a time of great fear, how can we as Christians thrive when the world is changing the way they do things? Many in the world are depressed and terrified because of the things that are happening around the world; the change ambushed most people so suddenly. Yes there is deep darkness covering the earth, but there is always hope for God’s children.
The Holy Spirit is giving us a word in season, showing us how to tap on the grace that is available now, and how to reign in life, even from your living room. I’m excited to see what He will show us in the days ahead!
This Bible Study series will be compiled into an eBook once we complete it.
Join us as a “God Every Morning” tier or above patron on Patreon to receive this new Bible Study series in our patron WhatsApp group chat. (วันก่อนให้สัมภาษณ์กับสำนักข่าว บางกอกโพสต์ มาครับ) Assoc Prof Jessada Denduangboripant, a lecturer at Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Science, said self-testing is better than not testing at all or self-monitoring for symptoms because most people are asymptomatic.
However, users must be careful about false positives. Those who test positive should reconfirm their status with an RT-PCR test in hospitals and labs.
Similarly, those who test negative but are at risk of infection must self-test again three or four days later when the level of the virus is higher and can be detected.
"You might test negative but you should assume that you can be positive anytime. Even if you test positive (false-negative result), the process will help screen out those who are actually infected," he said.
Last week, the FDA approved the registration of five antigen test kits for home use. They are currently being sold at around 250 baht per piece.
However, those at high risk should contact local clinics and hospitals for free rapid testing.
The National Health Security Office (NHSO) also approved the purchase of over 8.5 million home-test kits at a cost of around one billion baht to be given to Thais and migrant workers next month.
However, the government must take more actions to expand access to self-test kits because though they are less sensitive, they are cheaper and more readily available than RT-PCR tests.
The FDA and the NHSO said they will likely fix the price of the kits at 100 baht apiece to ensure affordability and prices will go down when more supply hits the market.
"Provincial and local administrations should spend their budget on self-testing rather than spraying disinfectants. The mass testing at Talad Thai is a very good model to follow as visitors are screened for free. If the government subsidises this scheme, it will increase accessibility," Jessada said.
Vulnerable groups will benefit from free coronavirus testing. He added that the rate of screening in migrant workers will be increased because companies can now afford tests.
In the past, they offered very limited testing due to high costs, which led to the emergence of clusters of infections.
He stressed that the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) must implement self-testing and home isolation plan nationwide because officials are using this method to ease the burden of RT-PCR testing.
The hospitalisation of asymptomatic and mild patients has overstretched the public health system.
"In foreign countries, they are being treated at home. We must get used to home isolation. Moreover, the requirement that providers of RT-PCR tests must admit positive cases should be scrapped," he added.
Those who test positive using self-test kits can contact the NHSO on its hotline 1330 or via its website crmsup.nhso.go.th for home isolation.
Currently, only patients in Bangkok and adjacent provinces are being treated at home and in the community. People in other provinces are being treated in hospitals and field hospitals as usual.

While our enemies today may not look like tall, gruff-looking men chasing after us with spears, there is still an enemy declaring war over us and he wants to take away your consciousness of how loved you are by God.
Hear all about it in this special video and find out how the revelation and consciousness of your identity as God's beloved, causes you to lead a victorious life! ?
The first thing the enemy does when he wants to attack you, is to attack the consciousness of how loved you are by God. He tries to strip away your identity as the beloved of God, leaving you to think that God doesn't love you after all.
Beloved, the enemy's attacks cannot get to you when you know you're loved by God. Jude 1:21 AMPC reads, "Guard and keep yourselves in the love of God."
Whatever your challenges today, you can rest safely in the Lord’s immeasurable love for you. Make a conscious, personal decision to focus on His love for you instead of the negative forces against you today. ?
