ที่ได้ทรงงานหนักเพื่อปวงชนชาวไทยมาตลอดการครองราชย์ 70 ปี และทรงเปรียบได้ดั่ง “พ่อ” ของพสกนิกรชาวไทย
และเพื่อเป็นการนำเสนอความรู้สึกจากใจประชาชนชาวไทย ไปยังชาวต่างชาติ เพื่อให้ประชาคมโลกได้รับทราบถึงพระราชกรณียกิจ พระมหากรุณาธิคุณ ตลอดจนพระราชดำรัสของพระองค์
แอ๊ด คาราบาว จึงได้ทำคำร้อง และนำเสนอเป็นบทเพลงภาษาอังกฤษ ในชื่อที่มีความหมายเดียวกัน “Father Bhumibol” เพื่อยืนยันต่อนานาชาติว่า
พระองค์ไม่เพียงทรงดำรงสถานะเป็น “พระมหากษัตริย์แห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย” เท่านั้น
แต่ยังทรงเป็นนักพัฒนาที่ยิ่งใหญ่ และจะทรงสถิตอยู่ในดวงใจของปวงชนชาวไทยไปตลอดกาลนาน
