Today’s teaching is about how to succeed in your workplace as a child of God.
Stressful toil came as part of the curse upon Adam. This was not the way before he fell.
“To Adam he said, “Because you have listened to your wife’s voice, and ate from the tree, about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ the ground is cursed for your sake. You will eat from it with much labor all the days of your life. It will yield thorns and thistles to you; and you will eat the herb of the field. By the sweat of your face will you eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”” (Genesis 3:17-19 WEB)
Before that, God had designed for Adam to sow seeds and reap abundant harvests. God gave seeds to Adam, and when Adam planted these seeds, they sprang up quickly and bore fruits.
“God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food.” (Genesis 1:29 WEB)
At that time, the whole earth had a fine mist canopy watering it. This meant that Adam didn’t even have to water the seeds. It was so restful for him.
We have to understand that we have been redeemed through Jesus’ blood. We are not meant to operate under the Adamic curse, but under the redemption we have in Christ.
If you are pushing yourself to work very hard in your job, profession, business, or ministry, in order to increase your results, this is operating by the curse: stressful toil in exchange for little fruits.
Then when your results don’t justify the hard work you’re putting in, you’ll get burnt out and angry at God, questioning why things are not moving well for you.
God has a better way for you to succeed in your workplace.
Whatever you want more of, you can sow the same thing as a seed, as unto the Lord, in order to reap it in a multiplied way.
When the little boy handed his meal of five loaves of bread and two small fishes as unto Jesus, it was multiplied to feed five thousand men (not counting the women and children), and there were twelve baskets full of food left over (John 6:8-13).
Jesus’ blood shed at the cross has made your sowing bear fruitful results. Previously before you were saved, your sowing only produced thorns and thistles. However, now that you are a child of God, you enjoy God’s favor and your sowing is powerfully effective. Sowing and reaping is a principle for the redeemed children of God.
“I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brothers that they would go before to you, and arrange ahead of time the generous gift that you promised before, that the same might be ready as a matter of generosity, and not of greediness. Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work. As it is written, “He has scattered abroad, he has given to the poor. His righteousness remains forever.” Now may he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; you being enriched in everything to all liberality, which produces through us thanksgiving to God.” (2 Corinthians 9:5-11 WEB)
If you want to enjoy multiplied results at work, think of how you can be a blessing to others first. If you want more business deals, see how you can bless others with deals. If you want to enjoy good relationships with your boss and colleagues, see how you can be an encourager, comforter and a good friend to others. If you want to grow your network, see how you can be a person who connects others to the people they need.
Rely on the Holy Spirit to lead you how to do these, in every situation, receiving His wisdom and power to do so.
The way of Kingdom prosperity is giving. The more you give, the more it is multiplied in abundance back to you.
Thanks to Grace, we can expect to receive abundantly above all that we can think or imagine because it is by God’s generosity and not by our limited ability.
I pray that as you operate by this New Covenant principle, that you will enjoy restful increase and unceasing fruitfulness at your workplace!

The Godly Way to Prosper in All Things
“And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 AMPC)
The often quoted verse above is in the context of giving to supply the needs of fellow Christians, especially the needs of those who labor in preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“But it was right and commendable and noble of you to contribute for my needs and to share my difficulties with me. And you Philippians yourselves well know that in the early days of the Gospel ministry, when I left Macedonia, no church (assembly) entered into partnership with me and opened up [a debit and credit] account in giving and receiving except you only. For even in Thessalonica you sent [me contributions] for my needs, not only once but a second time. Not that I seek or am eager for [your] gift, but I do seek and am eager for the fruit which increases to your credit [the harvest of blessing that is accumulating to your account]. But I have [your full payment] and more; I have everything I need and am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent me. [They are the] fragrant odor of an offering and sacrifice which God welcomes and in which He delights. And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:14-19 AMPC)
The Philippian church had received a revelation of the gracious act of giving. Out of love for Paul, they contributed for his material needs.
They were generous, relentless, cheerful givers. To them, Paul declared the promise that because of their giving, God would liberally supply their every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
In other words, if you’re generous to fellow Christians, and especially to those who labor in preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, God will be even more generous to you.
God will out-supply what you gave to others. He especially loves those who give generous and happily, because such people really have faith in Him.
They aren’t afraid to give, even in times of financial famine or drought, because they believe that God will take care of them no matter what the circumstances are.
Paul is the same person who wrote this to the Corinthian church:
“[Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings. Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, "prompt to do it") giver [whose heart is in his giving]. [Prov. 22:9.] And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. As it is written, He [the benevolent person] scatters abroad; He gives to the poor; His deeds of justice and goodness and kindness and benevolence will go on and endure forever! [Ps. 112:9.] And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity]. [Isa. 55:10; Hos. 10:12.] Thus you will be enriched in all things and in every way, so that you can be generous, and [your generosity as it is] administered by us will bring forth thanksgiving to God.” (2 Corinthians 9:6-11 AMPC)
This further supports the truth that you will experience God’s abundant supply of provision when you give by faith.
Your money is a seed. If you sow sparingly, you will reap a small harvest. If you sow generously, you will reap a big harvest.
You reap financial blessings in proportion to your level of giving.
You are not forced to give. Do it cheerfully out of a revelation that God wants to supply His beloved people through you, and that He will supply you with much more provision, so that you can keep on being blessed to be a blessing.
When you give, you don’t have to worry how the new blessings of provision will come to you.
God will use the power, wisdom and resources at His disposal to make all grace abound towards you.
You will find surprise money, unexpected promotions, new business deals, new creative ideas, Spirit-led investment leading, new customers, etc.
You will just walk right into the blessings prepared by God’s angels and Christians who are in tune with the leading of the Holy Spirit.
As you continue in this grace of giving, you will increase in wealth to the point whereby you can be consistently generous without your supply ever running out.
Be clear on which portion of your income is seed for sowing, and which portion is bread for eating. Don’t eat all your seeds if not you have no basis to expect a harvest!
Dear brethren, I believe that giving is where the rubber meets the road. Some believers want God to liberally supply their every need, but they clench their purse strings so tightly, hardening their hearts to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
The same believers won’t bat an eyelid to spend big sums of money for their entertainment, but when it comes to giving in church or supplying those who are in need, they don’t do it, or they do it sparingly and grudgingly.
You won’t become wealthy as a believer by default. You will prosper through the way God designed: giving generously by faith in God’s promises.
If you are a born-again Christian, you belong to Heaven’s royal family. You are a prince or princess. A royal priest to God.
Royalty are generous. They don’t need to be afraid of lacking provision.
If you want the promise of being enriched in all things and every way to be experientially real in your life, then start giving your way to God-given prosperity!

Read what God’s word says:
“Do not be carried away by diverse and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be established and strengthened by grace and not by foods [rules of diet and ritualistic meals], which bring no benefit or spiritual growth to those who observe them.” (HEBREWS 13:9 AMP)
Our heart should be established in Grace, and not rules of diet. This means that our faith should be rooted in God’s Grace to bless us with health, strength and beauty.
It’s not because of the food we eat. Yes, we are blessed to be able to eat, to enjoy the taste of different foods, but it’s just for our enjoyment — not for the maintenance of our health.
Today we don’t do things to try to become healthy or be healed.
God’s word says we already are, and we will experience it as a reality when we have faith in His word.
Receive your health and healing by faith, as gifts that Jesus purchased for you through His finished work at the cross.
“But the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, through the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron; forbidding marriage and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received with thanksgiving. For it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer. If you instruct the brothers of these things, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which you have followed. But refuse profane and old wives’ fables. Exercise yourself toward godliness.” (1 Timothy 4:1-7 WEB)
God did not command us to eat only vegetables and to abstain from meat, wine, or any particular food. That’s not the lesson from Daniel’s story.
All food is to be received with gladness and a grateful heart.
When we thank God for our food before a meal and sanctify it in Jesus’ name, it becomes cleansed and is good for us.
If you don’t do that, then whatever you put in your mouth is fallen, cursed food by-default.
God doesn’t want us living in fear, abstaining from this and that just because the world’s so-called experts say so.
Christians are called to live by faith, not by sight.
Dear brethren, Daniel and his three friends were found ten times better than their counterparts not because they ate vegetables for three years.
It’s because they persevered, having faith in God, and God honored their faith by blessing them.
Even for your food and health, it’s still by faith.
Keep your eyes on Jesus for all your needs, and you’ll be found ten times better than the world in every aspect, by God’s Grace!
