今日はアメリカの女性シンガーソングライターHailee Steinfeld（ヘイリー・スタインフェルド）の「Most Girls」（意味：ほとんどの女の子）を日本語で歌ってみました。
この曲は、女性は一人ひとり違った個性や素晴らしさがあるというメッセージがあります。PVの最初のシーンでは、男性が女性に、「あなたはほとんどの女の子と違うから好き」と伝えるシーンがありますが、これは男性が口説く時によく使う決まり文句かもしれません。でもこの曲では、「ほとんどの女性は素晴らしいから、ほとんどの女性と違うというのは、別にほめ言葉にならない」と反論しています。この男性の口説き文句は他の女性に失礼だという意識を、男性に持ってほしいとヘイリーさんは主張しています。「女性は戦いあうのではなく、みんな味方になろう」というこのメッセージが、素敵だと思います♪

今日はイギリス出身のシンガーソングライターEd Sheeran（エド・シーラン）の新アルバムより「Shape of You」（意味：君の身体の形）を日本語で歌ってみました。この曲を選んだのは、リクエストがあったことと、Ed Sheeranの曲をカバーしようと以前から思っていたという理由からです。この曲を訳すのは面白い作業でした(^^)/ ユーチューバ―のメンチャカさんもこの曲を日本語で歌われていて、彼の歌詞を所々参考にさせてもらいながら、自分のバージョンを作ってみました。ちなみに彼のバージョンもおすすめです(^^♪ 彼のチャンネルページをクレジットにてリンクしておきます。
私は普段、「身体」についての歌詞が多い曲は避けていますが、この曲はノリがよくて歌詞のはめ方が面白かったので歌ってみました(笑) 近いうちにはEd Sheeranの落ち着いた曲もカバーしたいと思います！
