Đến Monkey Island Resort vào một chiều cuối xuân, đầu hạ, chúng tôi khá ngỡ ngàng vì cách Hà Nội chỉ hơn 150kms lại có một không gian yên bình, lặng lẽ, gần gụi thiên nhiên đến vậy. Nằm ở nơi cửa biển, đầu sóng, ngọn gió, nhưng yên tĩnh đến lạ thường. Sóng ở đây cũng rất yên. Cả đêm ngủ được ru bởi tiếng sóng rì rào, những căn bungalow bằng gỗ, lợp mái lá nằm ẩn khuất trong rừng cây dứa dại, ngỡ tưởng mình đang ngủ trong căn lều của Robinson nơi hoang đảo.
Buổi sáng thức dậy, cả nhóm nhảy dựng lên vì sung sướng khi thấy hai chú khỉ đang đứng ngay ngoài cửa sổ. Bên cạnh tay trái bungalow chúng tôi ở là một khu rừng thu nhỏ với tiếng chim hót và bên tay phải là tiếng sóng biển ngày đêm rì rào, nhè nhẹ.
Thưởng thức bữa sáng thảnh thơi trên chiếc bàn với góc nhìn ra vịnh Lan Hạ, làn nước biển xanh ngọc trong vắt và những cơn gió nhẹ như đã rửa sạch những bụi bặm, cuốn theo hết cả bon chen nhỏ nhen ích kỷ nơi thành phố, chúng tôi trở lại làm bạn của Thiên Nhiên. Lùi về, ẩn náu, nương nhờ vào giữa thiên nhiên và tự chữa lành tâm hồn mình.
Ở Monkey Island Resort, bạn có thể nằm cả ngày dưới tán ô lợp mái lá để đọc sách, hoặc chơi đùa cùng đám trẻ trên bãi cát, đánh bóng chuyền bãi biển, tập yoga, thiền, hoặc cũng có thể trèo kayak quanh vịnh, leo núi khám phá đảo khỉ.

Having a sea-view bungalow for one night stay at Monkey Island Resort, we went to sleep peacefully, lulled by the sound of the waves and gentle night breezes.
The morning greeted our team with a pleasant surprise in form of two monkeys playing on the veranda right outside our window. Our bungalow sits next to a small forest. One of our team members might set a record of getting up and crossing the room in two heartbeats to take photos of the monkeys =))))
We leisurely enjoyed breakfast on the spacious veranda of the Resort's restaurant, which offers an excellent view to Lan Ha Bay with all its forest covered islets and clear emerald water. Except for the waves gently crashing on the small private beach and the joyful chit-chatting of other guests, the atmosphere at the Resort was absolute tranquil and pristine. We were cleansed and refreshed by mother nature.
Monkey Island Resort is quite an ideal "retreat" place where you can just sit back, immerse into the nature and relax. You also have the options of kayaking around to see more of beautiful Lan Ha Bay, climbing to the top of Monkey Island to be rewarded with a spectacular view over the Bay, going for a swim, sunbathing on the beach or simply lounging with a book under the thatched umbrella. Every minute at the Resort can be enjoyed wholeheartedly.
