We survived 4 days of HBL, and today is also the start of PSLE. 💪

This time round, I never set up any schedule for the girls mainly because I wasn't very ready and since it's only 10 days 说长不长，说短不短. I have so much things not settle yet so I decided to let nature take its course. 🛶 船到桥头自然直。

Day time was pretty manageable, because the girls are busy with online work and homework. I prepare their snacks earlier which I shared on my IGS, or u can swipe left to see.

I started this in May which I shared on my blog (link in bio). Starting, they do not know how to control and finish the snacks before the "school" ends. Too bad no replenish. 😝
After awhile they get a hang of it and don't bother me about snacks, hungry etc.

They only keep calling me for IT stuff (no sound, no screen, change backgrounc) which is getting on my nerves especially when I'm trying to listen to my lecturer talking. 👹

It's not easy for us parents, it's also not easy for the kids.. although it seems like they are enjoying.. but occasionally they miss their friends, the social life they have and their emotions let out channel is greatly affected. Plus the uncertainty for those who are preparing for exam.

Sometimes not having a schedule, letting ourselves to relax awhile, it's good for our mental health.

Not sure how long this "one step forward, 2 steps back" restrictions will last.. 😅 it's good to rethink by changing our mindset so we can handle this pandemic better.

All the best to those who have kids doing PSLE! And may we all stay positive and love. 🥰

A Kingdom Prepared for you

“Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.’” (Matthew‬ ‭25:34-36‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Just pause and think about this: God prepared the Kingdom for us—His children, from the foundation of the world.

He did not even make it for Himself. It was made beautiful, spacious, and glorious for us who have placed our faith in the name of Yahweh (before Jesus appeared)/Jesus (Yeshua).

“The King will answer and say to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me.’” (Matthew‬ ‭25:40‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

The righteous are instructed to do good to fellow believers who are Jesus’ brothers and sisters.

These are the ways of doing good to fellow believers that Jesus mentioned:
1. Feeding the hungry
2. Giving a drink to the thirsty
3. Showing hospitality by providing lodging
4. Clothing those who have no means to obtain basic necessities
5. Visiting and praying for the sick
6. Visiting those who are in prison and taking the Gospel to them

Every believer is a member of the body of Christ, so if you do good to a believer, you are doing it to Christ Jesus.

“Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.” (Galatians‬ ‭6:9-10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

We are taught to do good towards all men, but especially to fellow believers. When we do good as we have opportunity, we are doing it as unto the Lord.

“And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” (Colossians‬ ‭3:23-24‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

I understand how doing good can make you weary—when others are unappreciative or take advantage of you, despite you giving your best to do good. It can feel pointless at times because people can be so heartless.

However for you are doing good mainly as for the Lord Jesus, and not for men. The Lord will reward you, even if men’s intentions were impure.

We have a Kingdom prepared for us that is an unshakable inheritance. While we are here in this world, let us pray at all times, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and showcase God’s love by doing good, using the gifts and grace we have received. That is the best we can do while waiting for the Lord’s imminent return!

One Sacrifice for Sins Forever

“then he has said, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He takes away the first, that he may establish the second, by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Every priest indeed stands day by day serving and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins, but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God; from that time waiting until his enemies are made the footstool of his feet. For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.” (Hebrews‬ ‭10:9-14‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The Holy Spirit inspired the writer to repeat the “one sacrifice for sins forever” idea three times.

He must have foreseen that many people would be trying to offer their own additional sacrifices to earn their salvation; that many would be afraid of somehow committing an unpardonable sin and losing their salvation.

Some believers use the same chapter, Hebrews 10, to show how believers can lose their salvation, but actually Hebrews 10 shows us how perfectly saved and forgiven we are.

You have been sanctified and forever perfected by the one-time offering of the blood of Jesus.

To explain it clearer, you have been born again through the Holy Spirit to become a new creature in Christ that still lives in the body of flesh you were first born with.

““Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.” (John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Your spirit inside has passed out of death, into eternal life. You can no longer be under the Old Covenant of the Law because you have been set free from it through sharing in Jesus’ death at the cross.

You were also raised from the dead as a new creation in Christ, and you entered into the New Covenant of Grace. This means you are adopted into God’s family as His child, seated with Christ in Heaven. When God looks at you, He sees Jesus because you are a member of His body—you are “in Christ”.

Just as Jesus is seated at the right hand of Abba God, waiting for His enemies to be put under His feet as a footstool, so are you seated there as Him because you are in Him.

The posture we ought to live by is not as the Jesus that was tested by the devil in the wilderness and humiliatingly beaten by men on the way to the cross.

We are now living as the Jesus who is seated in Heaven next to Abba God, far above all principalities, powers, and every dominion in existence.

“and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come. He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.” (Ephesians‬ ‭1:19-23‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Now what we are waiting for is the last part of our redemption, which is the salvation of our body. When Jesus returns for His saints, our mortal bodies will be transformed into immortal glorified bodies, and our outward perfection will match what has already happened in our spirit. This is what all Christians ought to be focusing on and waiting for. It is our blessed hope!

Declare: “Just like Jesus, I am forever perfected and sanctified, seated at the right hand of Abba God, far above all principalities and powers. I have passed out of death into eternal life, and I am just waiting for Abba God to put every enemy under my feet as a footstool. The last enemy to be abolished is death, and that will happen when Jesus returns, and my mortal body is transformed into an immortal body. I am not waiting for death, but looking forward to eternal life in a new body. Thank You Abba God for this blessed hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen!”

God has equipped us with mighty spiritual weapons in Christ. When we know how to use them, we can emerge victorious over every spiritual warfare. 　昨年2020年、各音楽フェスは軒並み中止に。2021年に大きな期待を寄せて迎えてはみたものの、明るい兆しが一向に見えてこなかった今年の春頃。友人の訓ちゃん（野村訓市）とこんな話になった。
「なんだかまた鬱屈した夏が来そうだね。せめて聴いている間は気持ちが晴れて、どこまでも駆けていけそうな、踊り続けられるような夏のアンセムを作ろうよ。この夏の眩惑を一曲に閉じこめよう。」
　そこからこのSUMMER DAZEは出発しました。
　夏が近づくにつれアレンジも徐々に決まっていき、友人たちに聴かせると皆一様に喜んで踊り出すのでした。そして映像を作ろうと盛り上がり、一人、また一人と参加したいと言ってくれるクリエイターが増え、学生の自主制作のようにワイワイと映像制作も進んでいきました。皆がそれぞれの仕事を終えた夜中に打ち合わせやロケハンを繰り返し、撮影をしていきました。音源作り、Tシャツ作り、ムービー制作、ジャケット撮影のすべてを自分たちだけで行ったのは初めてのことでした。
　この音源と映像は僕たちから、共に2021年夏を生きるすべての同士たちへのプレゼントです。無料でSoundCloud、YouTubeにアップします。この夏の好きなシーンで聴いてもらえると嬉しいです。
　忙しい合間を縫ってやりたいと賛同し参加してくれたYOSHIROTTEN、カメラマンの川上くん、映像まわりを寝ずにやってくれた笠井くん、夜中の街を全速力で走ってくれたNANAMI、そして訓ちゃん、改めてありがとう。
　皆さんの夏が輝きますように。

In 2020, various music festivals got cancelled. I welcomed 2021 with hope but even around Spring time, there was no good news. That’s when my friend Kun-chan (Kunichi Nomura) and I had this conversation.

“I feel like this summer is going to be another depressing one. So let’s write a summer anthem that we can clear our minds and feel like we can keep running and dancing forever at least while we listen to that song. Let’s capture all the dazzlement of Summer in this song!”

That is how SUMMER DAZE started.
As Summer approached, arrangement came into shape and when I played it to my friends, they all started dancing with joy. When we decided to create a video to accompany the song, more and more creators wanted to take part and we ended up working on it like a bunch of students having fun making a homemade video together. We gathered late at night after work to hold meetings, go location hunting and shoot the video. It was the first time for me to write music, make T-shirt, shoot a video and cover photos all on our own.

This song and the video are a gift from us to all our comrades living their lives in the Summer of 2021. We will post them on SoundCloud and YouTube free of charge. I hope you will enjoy the song at your favorite time and place this summer.

Special thanks to YOSHIROTTEN, Kawakami-kun for all the awesome photos, Kasai-kun for your sleepless nights working on the video, NANAMI who ran around the midnight city in full-speed and last but not least, Kun-chan. I know you guys are all really busy but thank you for taking time to be part of the project.

3月の「横浜市営地下鉄ブルー・グリーンライン沿線の家系ラーメン店巡り」に続き、6月は家系ラーメン店を巡ってきた中で印象に残ったラーメン店を挙げてご紹介します。この３ヶ月で初めて訪れたお店も多く、改めて家系ラーメンの人気を感じました。それでは早速ご覧ください！

魚津の家系ラーメン直系店、初インタビュー！富山県魚津市『はじめ家』に伺ってきました。前回の訪問の際、店主の小沢さんが駅まで送ってくださった車中でいろいろお話を伺いました。今回は改めて時間を作ってくださり、家系ラーメンや吉村実社長との出会い、修行時代のお話、ラーメンへの考え方など、これまで公にされなかった貴重なお話を伺うことができました。直系店の店主さんのインタビューは今回が初となります。ぜひご覧下さい！

・『はじめ家』について横浜にある『家系ラーメン総本山吉村家』の創始者であり「ラーメン界のレジェンド」とも言われる吉村実氏の許しを直接得た直系店。【北陸の虎】の異名を持つ。昨今の家系ブームに乗って多くの家系ラーメン店が乱立するなか【総本山直系店】を名乗れるのは全国に10店舗(吉村家を含む)しかなく、富山県内のみならず週末になると近県や遠く関東からもその味を求める人が訪れる人気店である。

First interview with Uozu's iekei ramen shop! I visited "Hajimeya" in Uozu City, Toyama Prefecture. During my last visit, I heard a lot of stories in the car that sent me to the station, but this time the owner, Mr. Ozawa, made time to continue the story!
I was able to hear valuable stories that had not been made public until now, such as the encounter with Iekei Ramen and President Minoru Yoshimura, the story of the training era, and the thoughts on ramen.
・ About "Hajimeya" A direct line shop that directly obtained the permission of Mr. Minoru Yoshimura, the founder of "Yoshimuraya, the head iekei of ramen" in Yokohama and also known as "the legend of the ramen world", and was nicknamed "Hokuriku Tiger". Have. While many Iekei ramen shops are crowded due to the recent boom in Iekei, there are only 10 shops (including Yoshimura-ya) nationwide that can call themselves [Sohonzan direct line shop], and the taste is not only in Toyama prefecture but also from nearby prefectures and far Kanto on weekends. 文中主要針對遊戲中使用的歌曲歌詞做簡單粗淺分析，並提到一些結局的感想

本人非專業翻譯 請多指教





The Last of Us 那讓人一聽難忘的的吉他演奏是由連拿兩屆奧斯卡最佳原創音樂獎（斷
背山2005、火線交錯2006）的作曲家、阿根廷名宿 Gustavo Santaolalla 所譜寫演奏的
。

但在遊戲的續集中，Joel和Ellie的人聲＋吉他演唱也非常引人注目。

這些曲子都是翻唱的cover，但除了讚嘆兩位演員能將自己的角色帶入歌唱之外，歌詞的
含意如今看來也格外意味深遠。

在最早（2016年）PSX放出的預告裡，Ellie殺光了一屋子的人獨自坐在床邊彈吉他，屋外
一片白光彷若夢境（或天國？）。Joel從白光中緩緩走進屋裡，聽到 Ellie 自彈自唱，
她唱的曲子是Shawn James的《Through the Valley》，其中幾句歌詞：

I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
我行走於死亡幽谷
And I fear no evil 'cause I'm blind to it all
我已目空邪惡，無所畏懼
And my mind, my gun they comfort me
我的心志，我的槍，會給我安慰
Because I know I'll kill my enemies when they come
因為我知道在敵人來襲時，我將不留活口

以及最後兩句

No I can't walk on the path of the right
不，我已經無法走在正道之上
'Cause I'm wrong
因我早已行差踏錯

都非常切合Ellie在這次作品中的復仇主題。

其他像Joel教Ellie彈吉他時演唱的《Future Days》（原唱：Pearl Jam）：

If I ever were to lose you　 如果我失去了你
I'd surely lose myself…　　　我也必將失去我自己
（這完全能當做TLOU 2的題眼來看）

或是Ellie在西雅圖樂器行中唱給Dina聽的A-ha名曲《Take On Me》，都是能夠映照歌詞
情境、簡單卻動人的歌曲。


不過，有一首曲子，做為Ellie與Joel唯一的合唱曲，也在《最後生還者2》的最後片尾字
幕時登場，為整部作品寫下休止符，其重量也與其他歌曲不同。

（玩家必須看到結尾畫面的最後，才能聽到這首歌曲。可說是TLOU2結局的結局。）

《Wayfaring Stranger》這首曲子在1858年就出版了歌詞，是美國十九世紀的民謠（另一
說是來自英國），一百多年來有許多不同的翻唱版本，歌詞亦有些改變。在台灣則有基督
教界的翻譯版本為《我如異鄉客旅》，曲子和原曲幾乎一樣，台版的歌詞則譯為：

我如客旅在異鄉飄泊，困苦今生短暫停留；我將前往光明的天堂，疾病、險阻、重擔解脫
。我往前走，見我的天父；我往前走，不再飄泊。不過是跨過約旦河流，不過是回甜蜜家
鄉。

去年的一戰電影《1917》也同樣使用這首曲子做為主題曲，當時亦引起不少共鳴。

話說回The Last of Us，早在2017年底的PSX上，Ellie艾莉的演員Ashley Johnson和Joel
喬爾的演員Troy Baker就曾以劇中角色的身份唱過這首歌曲，一把吉他、兩位演員的歌聲
，充滿感情，他們的表演得到許多讚賞。

當時這些影片底下就有不少神預言，包括：
“This should be the credits song in the last of us part 2”

（我相信等遊戲出來後聽到這首歌會讓我心碎，我很確定Joel的死亡不可避免）
還有很多類似的這類留言。

那麼這首歌，到底為何會給他們這樣的感覺呢？
歌詞裡面到底唱了什麼？

＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝

從歌詞裡面就能知道，這是一首關於死後世界、流浪靈魂終於能回到天家的老民謠，而仔
細推敲TLOU2這版《Wayfaring Stranger》歌詞的編排（流傳一兩百年的歌曲當然會有許
多不同版本的歌詞）以及兩位主角們演唱的歌詞片段，都非常有意思。

當聆聽Ashley Johnson以Ellie的聲音唱「I am going there to see my father」的時候
，很難內心沒有觸動。當然，前一段歌詞，Ellie的媽媽也早已經在那裡等待著她。

Ellie的一生，失去了很多愛她的人，嚐盡人間諸多離散苦楚，而她不過是個19歲的少女
。

Joel唱的部份，非常平靜，沒有憤慨，只是低語道來，彷彿他已完成了俗世的任務，終於
能夠回到那個美麗的歸處。


其實一開始激起我好奇心的，是歌詞中的「約旦河」到底是什麼意思呢？

西方基督教文化中，聖經中的猶太子民是跨越了約旦河後到達了所謂神的「應許之地」，
約旦河也是耶穌在其中受洗禮、洗去罪孽之處。

的作者的看法，Joel與Abby最後都洗去罪孽，關鍵都在他們的行為已經是「出於愛」，故
而能夠得到救贖。

這其實背後是與西方的基督教精神底蘊相關的，這首歌曲亦如是。

雖然作者覺得Ellie未必已經完成整個由愛戰勝恨的過程（這點我可能跟他看法不太一樣
），但相信Ellie一樣能夠跨越約旦河到達彼方，因為她在最後終於能夠回想起Joel對她
的愛，終於能放下那勞苦的毀滅性的重擔。


The Last of Us Part II在這層意義上，仍是屬於Joel & Ellie的故事。

第二部中的 Joel 做為影響著 Ellie 的存在，他的死所帶來的遺憾和痛苦、傷心與不甘
，驅使著 Ellie，整部遊戲中Ellie的復仇之路慘烈殘酷，但她其實想要的，還是與Joel
以及與自己的和解，進而得到自由。


這首曲子放在TLOU2的片尾最後，可以視為Joel的鎮魂曲，悲傷、沉重，但也無比美麗。


Joel所唱的那段裡面也有一句是「I'll drop this cross of self-denial 我將放下自
我否認的十字架」，在遊戲的最後揭示了Ellie願意原諒他的訊息，那麼，即使他遭遇不
幸的死亡，他的靈魂也終能前往彼方，在那裡，Sarah在等著他。
