𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐄 𝐀 𝐇𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐎𝐌!
A couple of months ago, my firstborn got into trouble when she managed to access a site that she not supposed to go into (it wasn’t p*rn, but Azmi and I specifically banned her from visiting it).
We explained and reminded her again why she was being reprimanded.
It was a painful lesson for her as we were all home bound no thanks to the pandemic and her gadgets were taken away, screen time for online classes were made tighter.
So she was disconnected from her virtual “friends” and most importantly , her games and anime.
We revisited this episode a few months back when we came across an article about cybertheft and internet fraud. When we had a discussion with her about this, I think that’s when it finally hit her how her curiosity (and as a rebellious teen myself, I acknowledge and was mindful of that trait) could have gone awry had we not found out.
I told her that cyber crimes are offences and punishment includes imprisonment for some.
She was remorseful and regretted her actions.
“But what if those really smart hackers use their skills for good instead Mama?”
She brought up a good point.
That is why I’m allowing Isobel some leeway to listen to our LIVESTREAM tonight. I will speak to two Cybersecurity experts, (one being a certified hacker), to learn more about Cybersecurity and what job offerings are opened for those keen in this field.

Ideas
靈感
Tip No. 41: You know those quirky little things you do and think? Collect them in a file or on paper. Even if you’re a storyteller, you can use these as details to add depth and distinction to your jokes.
GARY'S FAVORITES
Gary(原作者)的最愛
Tip No. 45: Don’t Hoard Jokes
Don’t worry about “burning” material on a special or album. Hoarding jokes may signal to your brain that you’re out of ideas. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” — Maya Angelou.
Gary’s thoughts on Tip No. 45: This attitude has been crucial to an unprecedented streak of creativity over the last two years. I’ve written four hours of material, which is almost as much as I wrote in my first 23 years of comedy. Most important has been my health, this idea may be second.
Tip No. 62: Look for inspiration everywhere. Paintings, music, poetry, rap, novels, nonfiction, short stories, theater, philosophy, etc. can all provide a spark for creativity. Cross-pollinate your work with broad influences and watch your creativity grow.
Tip No. 63: Write it all down while the coffee is still telling you you’re mighty. Reread after you’ve turned back into Dr. Banner (yes he’s a genius, but not as self-confident in that condition). That buzz is so valuable but needs editing.
GARY'S FAVORITES
Gary(原作者)的最愛
Tip No. 90: After a Good Set, Brainstorm
You just had a great set. Instead of celebrating, use that hour or so after when the synapses are still firing and your confidence is soaring to voice record or write down the ideas that pop up during that especially fertile creative time.
Gary’s thoughts on Tip No. 90: Huge help in making jokes that work longer and coming up with tangents and inspired ideas.
Tip No. 92: Notice where you do your best thinking. The shower? Running? Listening to music? Not listening to music? Driving? Walking? Make sure to put yourself in the places where you’re doing your best thinking as frequently as possible.
Tip No. 132: I think you can limit frustration and discouragement by writing just a page on a new premise before trying it out onstage. See if there’s anything there before you spend a day on a new joke. But if you’re truly excited by the new idea, keep going!
Tip No. 143: Listen to strangers’ conversations. (I tell myself it’s not impolite if they’re being super-loud.) I got “How Dottie is that?” when a supercilious woman named Jodi bragged “How Jodi is that?” “So Jodi,” her friend replied.
我有一次聽到一個名叫Jodi的膚淺女人吹噓"How Jodi is that?",她朋友回覆:"So Jodi",我因此想出了我的 “How Dottie is that?”
Tip No. 157: Need new joke ideas? Be sensitive. If you’re uncomfortable with that word, use “irritable” (or grow up). A lot of good comedy comes from reaction to injustice or discomfort large and small, which requires being hypersensitive to those feelings.
Tip No. 217: “All art is autobiographical. The pearl is the oyster’s autobiography.” — Federico Fellini. Purposefully mine your personal history for your act. Your life is a wellspring. Dig deep.
Federico Fellini
Tip No. 241: Many of your favorite writers include the same themes/subjects/objects/interests repeatedly in their work. Don’t be afraid to return again and again to your passions and obsessions to explore and expound.
Tip No. 285: Explore unusual angles in a joke. Example: Examine things from the POV of a child or an Expert. My man Jimmy P and I still laugh over his “Martian response to high school football practice: Why are the hard-heads (players) taking orders from the small soft-heads (coach)?”
Tip No. 297: One of the miracles of comedy is that you can get redemption for suffering, small and large, by making something funny with it. When you are ready, try to write something funny about your mistakes, setbacks, or even tragedies.
Tip No. 298: Skim your life for the unusual events and activities that you can’t believe you were a part of or that people can’t believe you were a part of. Then write about it! Back row No. 93 MULLET:
Tip No. 310: When it comes to solving the puzzles that are our jokes, draw on every area of knowledge, expertise, and talent. It’s so gratifying to use a fact, a lesson, or a memory from elementary school, high school, or elsewhere to fill in the joke.
Tip No. 311: Some of your best ideas will come to you in the shower. There’s science behind why it happens. Get a shower notepad if you have trouble remembering your ideas. Don’t listen to music. Listen to your thoughts. Ruminate on tonight’s set or a new joke.
Tip No. 313: Try teaching or informing the audience about something through some of your jokes. We love to learn while being entertained and vice versa. You have knowledge? Put it in your act! Just make sure it’s funny.
Tip No. 327: Going home for Thanksgiving? Take copious notes! Your family is unique. Being reminded of the dynamics and adding new memories will be great resources for your act. “Family isn’t a word. It’s a sentence.”
Tip No. 331: There are great stories from our lives that we’re not able to translate into stand-up. Don’t throw them out. Collect those stories in a file for radio and TV and other interview situations.
Tip No. 340: Volunteer! Especially if you don’t have a day job. There are so many opportunities to help. You will do good and have something new to write about. In NYC we have New York Cares. One year we decorated an elementary school for Halloween.
Tip No. 358: I have recently started audio recording all notes sessions (for projects), and next time I pitch jokes with a friend I will record that too. It’s very helpful. You will be surprised at what you forgot when you listen back. Ask permission first.
Tip No. 360: Spending holidays with kids? Pay attention to them. Listen to them. Take note and embrace their curiosity and enthusiasm within your writing. (Also avoid the “kids these days” writing. It’s lazy.) Merry Christmas from your second favorite long-haired Jew.

I used to be a very Angry Person
I’ve never spoken about this on my platform before, but I’ve build the courage to share after reaching out for help & to talk about it more often.
In Psychology, being Angry OFTEN means somewhere in life, you got really hurt & damaged - emotionally & mentally, and you respond with anger whenever something similar comes up.
To put it simple: imagine a really scared dog that has been abused by people all it’s life. Now when people come near it, it acts out of fear & anger
So yea
I used to NOT be able to handle my Temper
I can be so darn frustrated with myself, and shut away from the world. Most of the time I’d channel it to the gym. But when I don’t have the gym, it becomes Trouble
I mean I still get angry, but I managed figured out a way to tame this emotion and to prevent it from hurting myself or anyone (Swipe Right to read)
I share this because I made a promise to myself that 2021 onwards, I will step up to own every problem I see, but it starts with me
I’m still learning tbh, but as long as I don’t give up, I will master this and will be able to help others with the same problem 🔥

the trouble with being myself 在 umino ASMR Youtube 的最佳貼文
Hello, I am umino.Thank you for watching this video. This description uses Google Translate.
People who don't understand Japanese can't understand what I'm talking about in this video. So I will explain it in the summary column.
The material in this video, what a year and a half ago, was taken. Why do I leave it up to this point? I think the reason is because there was a subtle part to it. Maybe.
I've put out a lot of subtle videos in the past, but the even more subtle ones are doomed to be forgotten in this way. I've been getting into a "proactive video posting mentality" lately, so I've been checking out some of the old material rather well.
This video was made before I changed cameras, so the quality is poor. The background is also quite appropriate. There were about 50,000 subscribers even a year and a half ago, so maybe the background and the quality of the video have nothing to do with the growth in subscribers. I'd like to say that, but there are more contributors now than there were then, and if you don't have some sort of personality, it won't grow. I just happened to have good timing in posting. Yay.
If I were to start posting videos now, what would I do? For starters, I'd buy an ear microphone; in terms of ASMR-related stuff, I think specializing in something would be a stretch. But if you specialize in something, you're in trouble when you get stuck. That's what YouTube is all about.
It's a little different than what I was talking about earlier, but sometimes people have 1 million subscribers but 50,000 views or so.... It's sad to say that, maybe it's a fate, or maybe it's a collaboration that raised awareness, but no one watches the important videos. That's just boring.
I mean, if you're not interested in subscribing to a channel, the notifications just get in the way. How many channels do you guys subscribe to? And where are you watching the video from? Front page? It seems that the top page (Recommended to you) is more highly rated from YouTube's point of view. Maybe.
The recommendations reminded me of this. What summer drinks do you recommend? (I would normally ask you to tell me what YouTubers you recommend here, but I won't because I can't be responsible if you name a YouTuber in the same genre.) My drink of choice is the Peach Tea Green Tea. Shut up about tea-tea, TWICE? I thought to myself. I thought about it for 10 seconds to see what I could find, and then TWICE came up. Thank you TWICE, even though I don't know any of their songs. I regretted a little bit that it could have been Tegoshi by Tei Tei. I'll never be able to translate this into English, you've got to be kidding me.
Back to the peach tea green tea. There's a tendency to think of summer as being like barley tea, but tea is pretty good too. There's something refreshing about it. It's not as harsh as regular tea. I don't dislike rooibos tea, but it's a bit strong. However, there is a problem with this tea. I find that it produces an unusual amount of urine. I'm guessing that I'm pissing more than I'm drinking. The more you think about it, the more you get out of it.
If you can tolerate the disadvantages, then by all means try the Peach Tea Green Tea. By the way, Itoen's was better than Muji.
Good night.

Good morning, hello, good night
September
How are you feeling in September?
Are you going to school properly?
You know, I really felt school
was a shit place or so i thought
To you who didn't want to go to school tomorrow
Okay, "being an adult" is fun
To the past me
Hey hey, Can you hear me?
What made you want to escape?
That strong child and teachers
I liked you all
But it was painful
I've always wanted to have a beautiful attitude
I never said "I hate"
Even though everyone doesn't know
I really hated myself
September
How are you feeling in September?
Being an adult is very painful
For education and the future
Words of justice
I can't see myself tomorrow
It seemed like a wall for me
Still glitter
To a shining world
I had a dream. Now I'm in trouble
Deeper life than "I want to get out"
"I want to shine" I thought so
Then I quit one by one
Walking behind someone
Forcibly bend your mind to make people like you
I'm sensitive to malicious intent
I’m not gonna suffer
I can't be happy with that
Can I?
Pretend to be like the trendy light blue
but I really liked pink
I can't become a dexterous rabbit around
Because of the nature of a turtle
Such my future words

the trouble with being myself 在 Bingyen 郑斌彦 Youtube 的精選貼文
RING RING~
I saw the green traffic light turn on and off
But I’m going to be late for work soon
Why is there no gap within the traffic
For my car to move forward?
I don’t have a fixed time where I can leave work
I would require a lot of courage to knock off from work on time
Why is none of my colleagues packing up to go?
Oh, our boss is still down the hall.
Perhaps it’s because we’re busy dealing with having to network and socialise
Busy dealing with being suddenly arrowed
It’s understandable that people run away and escape
Things that are not our problem, we begin to subtly taichi* it away
Now we know society is difficult to deal with
Now we know that we’re getting in touch with reality
Our chants of wanting to change the world in the past
Have become such that we’ve changed ourselves
We’ve put on layers of masks, pretending that we’re happy
When it is time for our holidays, we feel so lucky,
But I’ve lost my energy to accompany you through a night out
But one day
I hope I can sleep until I wake up naturally
My phone won’t keep ringing
I would thank God
My company’s environment is extremely fake
My colleagues are bootlicking their superiors
To beg for a raise, who’s going to give me that courage
So that I can support myself and survive?
Perhaps it’s because we’re busy dealing with having to network and socialise
Busy dealing with being suddenly arrowed
We’re being attacked every time
Who’s the one causing trouble in the office, this is too despicable!
Now we know society is difficult to deal with
Now we know that we’re getting in touch with reality
Our chants of wanting to change the world in the past
Have become such that we’ve changed ourselves
We’ve put on layers of masks, pretending that we’re happy
When it is time for our holiday, I feel so lucky,
But I’ve lost my energy to accompany you through a night out
But one day
I hope I can sleep until I wake up naturally
My phone won’t keep ringing
Ring, ring
I really am unlucky
