HELLO from Osaka!!!

I don't usually like city or discount passes when we travel because we tend to like to take things easy at our own pace. That said, the Osaka Amazing Pass ended up being extremely useful for us as we got to cover some of the most popular Osaka attractions in one day!

We went up Osaka Castle, possibly the most famed attraction in the city, then got really dehydrated because of the super hot weather. But then, we discovered the Illusion Museum beside the Castle which was included in the Pass - and it was air-conditioned! 😆 We then went up 39 floors to Umeda Sky Building observatory and enjoyed a fantastic view of #Osaka and ended off the night with a Tombori River Cruise. With a gorgeous sunset, no less!

Total entrance fee of the attractions far exceeded the cost of one Osaka Amazing Pass, and it included FREE subway and bus transport too! I think we could have maximised the value of the Pass if we wanted too since it covers a total of 30 attractions like river and harbour cruises, museums, the zoo, botanical gardens, a natural onsen and more. I pre-booked my Passes via Klook (they have a best price guarantee) and picked them up fuss-free at the airport. Experienced the Zoo in a different light last weekend at Rainforest Lumina, a multi-sensory night walk. It was a magical sight to see the zoo transformed into an enchanted tropical rainforest filled with glittering lights, immersive displays, and music. HABIB for Zoo Negara: Save our Animals! HABIB had a quick chat with Safuan bin Sulaiman, one of the zoo keepers at the Tiger (Carnivore) enclosure for a series of educational videos of the six animals featured on the HABIB for Zoo Negara gold wafers. This is part of our effort in bringing awareness in helping to sustain one of our national treasures facing difficulties during this trying time.

HABIB for Zoo Negara is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to provide support to Zoo Negara for their daily operations whilst providing care for these extraordinary animals. HABIB kick-started a ‘HABIB for Zoo Negara – Save our Animals’ campaign at the end of year 2020 by donating RM50,000 up front for the sale of the limited edition gold wafer. With the second plight from Zoo Negara, HABIB will be topping up an additional RM50,000 in February 2021, making the total RM100,000.
