先天不足、年老體衰、思慮勞碌、房勞過度、熬夜等均會導致腎精不足,想改善症狀要避免熬夜及縱慾過度,適量進食黑色養腎食物如黑木耳、黑豆、黑芝麻、黑棗、海參等,每日飲用含黑芝麻及黑豆的夕米水亦有幫助。

做法:
1. 所有材料洗淨,紅蘿蔔去皮切塊、黑豆以白鍋炒香,栗子去衣取肉,烏雞汆水備用。
2. 鍋中加入2500毫升水,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,調文火煮2小時,最後下鹽調味即可。

“Hey, your face is dark and dull. I’m afraid that’s a bad omen!” This is a common scene, which often appears in drama series. From the perspective of Chinese Medicine, dark and dullness reflect the lack of the yang energy in the kidneys.
Individuals with this condition can develop aversion to cold and experience dizziness, tinnitus, fatigue, soreness on the waist and knees, urinary incontinence, or diarrhea between 3am-5am.
In more severe cases, men might develop erectile dysfunction, spermatorrhea (involuntary ejaculation), or premature ejaculation, whereas women might suffer from menstrual pain and amenorrhea (the absence of menstruation) and not be able to conceive easily. Come to think of it, these problems could indeed be regarded as bad omens.
Congenital issues, old age, fatigue and stress, excessive intercourse, staying up late will exhaust the essence of the kidney. To improve the condition, avoid staying up late and over-indulging in sexual activities.
Consume black-colored ingredients such as black fungus, black bean, black date, and sea cucumber as they could nourish the kidneys. Drinking dusk rice water that contains black sesames and black bean daily could also help improve the organ’s health.

Eucommia bark is warm in nature; can nourish the liver and kidney, strengthen the bones and joints, and stabilize pregnancy.
Chinese yam and chestnut soup with black-bone chicken
Effects: Nourishes the liver and kidneys. Relieves weak knees and lower back, and frequent fatigue.
Ingredients: 1 fresh Chinese yam, 15g eucommia bark, 20g glehnia root, 30g black bean, 80g chestnut, 1 black-bone chicken, 2 candided date
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Peel and cut the carrot into pieces. Peel the carrot and cut into pieces. Stir fry black bean without oil in wok until fragrant. Peel the chestnut. Blanche black-bone chicken and set aside.
2. Combine all ingredients with 2500ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 2 hours. Add salt to taste.

Through Pastor Prince’s messages, I’ve learned about the finished work of Jesus on the cross and the gift of righteousness that I’ve received from Him. I decided to believe in God’s will to heal me and make me whole and rejected thoughts that I’d end up like my mother.
In the first service of this year, I was amazed by God’s grace and goodness when Pastor Prince called out my condition during his sermon. Immediately, I claimed the healing for myself. The Lord also encouraged me during the service on January 17, 2021, when Pastor Prince said that the growths found in wombs would shrivel up and die. He also said they would be found no more during future visits to the doctor.
I was excited because I was about to visit my doctor. When my appointment came, my doctor ordered another scan. This time, the scan showed only fibroids but no more polyps. Then, the doctor called for a medical procedure to investigate my condition more thoroughly. The night before my procedure, I felt a cooling sensation around my lower abdominal area that lasted for a while. At that moment, I felt loved and taken care of.
The procedure went smoothly and when the results came out, there was no mention of fibroids! The growths were gone, and I am completely healed.
All the doctor could say was that the previous scans were probably wrong although I had 2 different scans done at 2 different radiology centers that confirmed I had the fibroids. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness. Hallelujah!"

🥛 甚麼是米奶?
米奶是由白米及水製成的仿奶製品,不含奶類成份,其營養來自白米,相比牛奶熱量較低,不含動物性脂肪,適合素食人士、乳糖不耐症患者及減肥人士飲用;惟注意升糖指數高,糖尿病人士慎飲。
自製米奶
材料:白米1杯、開水5杯
做法:白米洗淨,放雪櫃浸泡一晚。倒走浸泡的水,將米及開水以高速攪拌機攪成糊狀,如顆粒比較大,可用隔渣袋過濾米渣,即成米奶。
*米和水的比例可按個人喜好而定
*用白飯可省卻浸米時間
🍚 甚麼是米水?
米水是用紅米、白米及生薏米煲成的養生飲品,從中醫角度看,白米及紅米皆有補氣養脾胃功效,亦能除煩渴、長肌肉、止腹瀉,加入少量生薏米取其健脾袪濕功效,加強去水能力。米水可紓緩容易疲倦、食慾不振、面色偏黃欠光澤及身體浮腫等問題,由於屬性平和,男女老幼皆適合,唯薏米會令子宮收縮,建議孕婦不下薏米服用。
自製米水
材料:紅米2湯匙、白米半湯匙、生薏米半湯匙
做法:將材料洗淨,鍋內加入約800-1000毫升水,以武火煮滾後調文火煮20-30分鐘。
備註:天天煲,一天飲完,不要過夜

Rice milk vs rice water
Plant based milk has become trendy in recent years, and rice milk is an example. Is rice milk better than rice water? Let’s get to know them a little better!
🥛 What is rice milk?
It is a milk substitute made of white rice and water. In other words, it does not contain dairy product. The nutrient of rice milk comes from white rice, and it is lower in calories. Since rice milk does not contain animal fats, it is suitable for vegans, lactose-intolerant individuals, and those who wish to lose weight. Diabetic patients, however, should watch out for its sugar content.
Homemade rice milk
Ingredients: 1 cup of white rice, 5 cups of boiled water
Method: wash the white rice and soak it in water overnight in the refrigerator. Pour away the water, and replace it with boiled water. Pour the mixture into a high-speed blender to turn them into a paste. Use a sieve to remove the large bits of rice and retrieve the rice milk.
*Adjust the ratio of the rice and water according to personal preference
*Using cooked rice can reduce the hours of soaking
🍚 What is rice water?
Rice water is a healthy drink made from red rice, white rice, and coix seed. White rice and red white can both replenish qi, strengthen the spleen and stomach, relieve excessive thirst, promote muscle growth, and alleviate diarrhea. Coix seed can strengthen the spleen and dispel dampness. Rice water can improve fatigue, poor appetite, yellowish complexion that is lacking shine, and bloating. Due to its mild nature, it is suitable for the entire family with the exception of pregnant women as coix seeds can cause uterus contraction.
Simple healthy rice water
Ingredients: 2 tablespoons red rice, half tablespoon of white rice, half tablespoon of coix seeds
Preparation: rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Combine all ingredients with 800-1000ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
*Rice water should be made fresh daily and should not be stored overnight as it will spoil easily.
*For pregnant ladies, they can omit coix seeds.
*Those with diabetes should consult a nutritionist accordingly.

牛肉とブロッコリーの焼きおにぎり
12個分
材料:
白ごはん 4合分
■ソース
しょうゆ 120ml
はちみつ 85g
しょうが(みじん切り) 小さじ1/2
にんにく(みじん切り) 1片分
■具
サラダ油 大さじ1+大さじ2
牛もも肉(角切りステーキ) 225g
塩 小さじ1/2
コショウ 小さじ1/2
玉ねぎ(みじん切り) 小1/2個
ブロッコリー(粗みじん切り) 150g
コーンスターチ 大さじ1
水 大さじ1
白ごま 大さじ1/2
しょうゆ 120ml
青ねぎ(小口切り) 盛り付け用
作り方:
1. 白ごはんを4合炊く。
2. ソースを作る。カップにしょうゆ、はちみつ、しょうが、にんにくを入れ、よく混ぜる。
3. 具を作る。フライパンにサラダ油大さじ1を入れ、中火で熱す。牛肉、塩、コショウ を加え、焼き色がつくまで炒める。一度フライパンから牛もも肉を取り出す。
4. フライパンに玉ねぎとブロッコリーを入れ、玉ねぎが半透明になるまで炒めたら(2)を加える。
5. 小皿にコーンスターチと水を入れて混ぜ合わせ、 (4)に回しかける。ブロッコリーが柔らかくなってソースにとろみがつくまで、2-3分煮る。
6. (3)をフライパンに戻し入れ、白ごまを振りかける。混ぜたら火から下ろす。
7. 直径13cm程のボウルにラップを敷き、大さじ2の白ごはんをボウルの内側に押しつける。
8. 真ん中に(6)を大さじ1/3入れ、ごはんをかぶせる。ラップをボウルから剥がし、おにぎりを三角形に整形する。残りのごはんと具材で繰り返す。
9. フライパンにサラダ油大さじ2を入れ、中火で熱す。おにぎり2-3個をフライパンに入れ、焼き色がつくまで両面1-2分ずつ焼く。
10. 刷毛でしょうゆを全面に塗り、さらに焼く。
11. 青ねぎを振りかけたら、完成!

Beef and Broccoli Rice Balls
for 12 servings
Ingredients:
■RICE
3 cups japanese short grain rice(600 g)
3 cups water(720 mL)
■STIR FRY SAUCE
1/2 cup soy sauce(120 mL)
1/4 cup honey(85 g)
1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
■FILLING
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 lb boneless round steak(225 g), diced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 small yellow onion, finely chopped
1 cup broccoli(150 g), finely chopped
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup soy sauce(120 mL)
scallion, thinly sliced, for garnish
Preparation:
1. Make the rice: Wash the rice in a medium bowl of water, draining and refilling until the water is clear. Pour the washed rice into a large pot and add 3 cups (720 ml) of fresh water. Let soak for 30 minutes.
2. Place the rice on the stove over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 12 minutes, or until all of the water is absorbed by the rice. Turn off the heat and let the rice rest with the lid on for 10 minutes, then fluff the rice and set aside until ready to use.
3. Make the stir fry sauce: In a liquid measuring cup or medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic. Whisk to combine.
4. Make the filling: Heat the vegetable oil in a medium pan over medium heat. Add the beef, salt, and pepper and cook until the meat is browned and cooked all the way through, 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan.
5. Add the onion and broccoli to the same pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly tender. Add the stir fry sauce. Combine the cornstarch and water in a small bowl and stir until cornstarch dissolves. Pour into the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes more, or until the sauce is thick and the broccoli is tender.
6. Return the beef to the pan, add the sesame seeds, and stir until thoroughly combined. Remove the pan from the heat.
7. Line a 5-inch (13 cm) diameter bowl with plastic wrap. Scoop two tablespoons of rice into the bowl and use the back of a spoon (or your fingers) to flatten in an even layer against the inside of the bowl.
8. Add a ½ tablespoon of filling and top it off with a little more rice. Use the plastic wrap to mold the rice around the filling. Unwrap and use your hands to shape the rice into a triangle. Repeat with the remaining rice and filling.
9. In a medium pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add 2-3 rice triangles to the pan and fry on each side for 1-2 minutes, or until the rice is crispy and starting to turn golden brown.
10. Brush soy sauce on all sides of the triangles and fry each side for another 1-2 minutes, or until dark golden brown. Repeat with the remaining triangles.
11. Sprinkle the rice triangles with scallions, then serve.
12. Enjoy!

パイナップル炒飯
2人分
材料:
パイナップル 1個
サラダ油 (大さじ2+大さじ6)大さじ8
溶き卵 2個分
エビ 200g
にんにく(みじん切り) 3片
赤唐辛子(小口切り) 1個
玉ねぎ(みじん切り)1個
ごはん 400g
ミックスベジタブル 150g
ナンプラー 大さじ1
ライム汁 1個分
ネギ(小口切り) 2本
作り方:
1. パイナップルを縦半分に切る。
2. 包丁の先を使い、皮に沿って切り目を一周入れる。
3. 格子状に切り込みを入れ、実をくり抜く。芯は取り除く。
4. 中華鍋にサラダ油大さじ2を入れ、中火で熱す。溶き卵を流し込み、炒める。
5. エビを加え、火が通るまで炒める。一度エビと卵を中華鍋から取り出す。
6. 再び中華鍋を熱し、サラダ油を大さじ6入れる。にんにく(みじん切り)、赤唐辛子(小口切り)、玉ねぎ(みじん切り)を入れ、香りが立つまで炒める。
7. ご飯とミックスベジタブルを加え、よく混ぜながら炒める。
8. (5)を中華鍋に戻し、ナンプラーを回しかける。(3)を入れ、全体を混ぜ合わせる。
9. くり抜いたパイナップルに盛り付け、ライム汁とネギをかけたら、完成!

Pineapple Fried Rice
for 2 servings
Ingredients:
1 pineapple
8 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 lb king prawn(200 g)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 red chili, finely diced
1 onion, finely chopped
1 3/4 cups rice(400 g), cooked
1 cup mixed vegetable(150 g)
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 lime, juiced
2 spring onions, finely chopped
Preparation:
1. Using a sharp knife carefully cut the pineapple in half lengthways.
2. Using the tip of a knife, cut around the edge of the pineapple being careful not to cut through the skin.
3. Slice down and across the pineapple flesh then scoop out the pineapple cubes with a spoon. Discard the core and set the flesh aside.
4. In a large wok, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over a medium heat. Fry the beaten eggs in a hot wok.
5. Once cooked, push the eggs to a side and add in the prawns to the other side.
6. Fry until the prawns are just cooked. Remove eggs and prawns from the wok and set aside.
7. Heat the wok until smoking hot and pour in 6 tablespoons of oil.
8. Add the garlic, chilli, and onion and stir until fragrant.
9. Add in the rice and vegetables, and fry until rice turns slightly brown and the veggies are thoroughly cooked.
10. Add the cooked eggs and prawns, add in the fish sauce and the prepared pineapple flesh and stir until everything is well mixed together.
11. Serve in the empty pineapple halves, along with some lime juice and spring onions.
12. Enjoy!

To celebrate that, I was going to cover the whole album. However, I was worried that people wouldn’t have the patience, so I made a 10 mins medley with 6 songs of the album. Hope this could encourage everyone to listen to it thoroughly, which I put lots of effort into this one❤️
If I have to point out one album that influence me the most, it would be 100% "Born This Way". It helped me get through those self-identification moments, taught me to honest about myself and to live my truth. Compared to myself 10 years ago, I think I’m healthier and more confident now!
