Toby Fox นักพัฒนาเกมอินดี้ที่รู้จักในฐานะผู้สร้างเกม Undertale ได้ประกาศเซอร์ไพรส์ เปิดตัว Deltarune Chapter 2 อย่างเป็นทางการ และเตรียมวางเปิดให้เล่นบน PC กับ MacOS ในวันที่ 17 กันยายนนี้

สำหรับคนที่ไม่รู้จัก Deltarune เป็นเกมแนว RPG ที่พัฒนาโดยใช้เอนจินเดียวกับเกม Undertale โดยเกม Chapter 1 เปิดให้เล่นฟรีครั้งแรกในวันที่ 31 ตุลาคม ปี 2021 บนระบบ PC, MacOS, PS4 และ Nintendo Switch ส่วน Chapter 2 จะมีเนื้อหาต่อจากตอนที่หนึ่ง ซึ่ง Toby Fox กล่าวว่าเพียงแค่เข้าใจเนื้อหาโดยรวมของเกมภาคแรก ก็สามารถเกมภาคนี้ได้ทันที

Toby Fox มีแผนวางจำหน่าย หรือปล่อยเกมเวอร์ชันเต็มในอนาคต แต่ยังไม่มีการประกาศอย่างเป็นทางการ จนถึงตอนนั้น ถ้าหากเกมเมอร์อยากเล่น Deltarune Chapter 1 ก็สามารถดาวน์โหลดเกมได้ผ่านเว็บไซต์ทางการ

Game Freak ได้ประกาศว่า เตรียมนำ Little Town Hero ที่เคยลงให้กับ Nintendo Switch เมื่อปีที่แล้ว มาลงให้กับ Steam โดยมีกำหนดวางจำหน่ายวันที่ 1 ก.ค. นี้ ตามเวลาในประเทศไทย

ซึ่งตอนนี้ Little Town Hero ได้ขึ้นในหน้าร้านค้า Steam แล้ว สำหรับผู้ที่สนใจสามารถเข้าไปกด Wishlist ได้ที่นี่

Little Town Hero จะเล่าถึงหมู่บ้านโดดเดี่ยวห่างไกลจากโลกภายนอก ที่มีการคุ้มกันอย่างแน่นหนาโดยเจ้าเมือง และชาวเมืองไม่ได้รับอนุญาตให้ออกมาภายนอกหมู่บ้าน แต่ชาวเมืองส่วนใหญ่ก็ไม่ได้รู้สึกอะไร และใช้ชีวิตอย่างปกติสุขในุกวัน

แต่ตัวเอกของเกม กลับแตกต่างจากผู้อื่น เขาอยากจะออกไปเห็นโลกภายนอก และในวันหนึ่ง มอนสเตอร์ก็ได้ปรากฎตัวในหมู่บ้าน ที่สร้างความตื่นตระหนกให้กับทุกคน เพราะจวบจนตอนนี้ก็ไม่เคยมีใครรู้ว่า มีสัตว์ร้ายแบบนี้อยู่บนโลก

ตัวเอกสามารถสู่กับมอนสเตอร์นั้นได้ด้วย หินสีแดงลึกลับที่เขาพบเจอในเหมืองถ่านหิน และเพื่อปกป้องหมู่บ้าน เขาจะต้องค้นหาความลับว่า ก้อนหินสีแดง และมอนสเตอร์นี้เกิดขึ้นมาได้อย่างไร

นี่คือเกมที่จะไม่เหมือนแนว RPG อื่นๆ เพราะคุณไม่จำเป็นต้องสู้กับมอนสเตอร์ย้ำๆ ซ้ำๆ เพื่อปั่นให้เลเวลให้สูงขึ้น สิ่งที่คุณจำเป็นต้องมีคือ กลยุทธ์ที่ดีในการต่อสู้กับบอสแต่ละตัว

Little Town Hero will tell about a lonely village, far away from the outside world, tightly guarded by the city and the towns are not allowed to come out of the village, but most of the towns don't feel anything and live normal everyday.

But the game protagonist is different from others. He wants to see the outside world. And one day, Monsters appear in a village that creates a panic for everyone because until now, no one knows that there is a beast like this on earth.

The protagonist can get to that monster with the mysterious red rock he found in the coal mine and to protect the village. He has to find out the secret of how this red rock and monster has happened.

This is a game that won't be like other RPG genres because you don't have to fight with monsters repeatedly to spun the level higher. What you need is a good strategy to fight each boss.

アンダーテールといえばメガロバニアという人も少なくはないでしょう。
