[ MAJOR SUSPENSION of public transportations throughout Central/Eastern Japan, esp. in Tokyo Met Region ]
As you might know, Typhoon No.19 (known internationally as "Hagibis") is heading north toward central and eastern Japan (inc. Nagoya, Yokohama, Tokyo, Sendai).
Bracing for one of the strongest typhoons hitting Japan in decades, ALL transportation services arriving from, departing to, or moving through those areas (air, land and sea) will be partially or completely suspended.
These measures are not unprecedented, however, scale of which clearly indicates its destructive power.
The messege from the Govt, Meteorological Agency, airliners, train operators are common and simple:
CHARGE your phones in advance, STAY INFORMED, STAY INDOORS/DON'T GO OUTSIDE for a day or two.
(You'll probably need some food and water, but it could be too late. Try getting them indoors or near by)
