拿到這份絕版的最後一份香港蘋果日報，實屬不易。
託善心人士6月23日一早在香港搶買，當時的環境、擔心去郵寄途中、或者寄來台北過程中可能有問題，最後想到這方案：託人交給要去東京採訪奧運的同業，再轉交給同樣從台北出發前往東奧的同業。
等於這份報紙，從香港飛東京，再飛台北。
同業採訪完東奧後，這份報紙在防疫旅館住好住滿，歷經71天，9/2終於拿到它。很謝謝幫忙的人。
時刻謹記，自由，絕非偶然。
This final copy of AppleDaily Hong Kong’s last print didn’t come easy. Troubled a friend to purchase it for me, and was worried postage to Taipei might be a challenge.
I eventually had this passed to other journalists who were travelling to Tokyo for Olympic coverage and they passed to another friend of mine who flew from Taipei.
This copy basically flew from Hong Kong to Tokyo, and later to Taipei.
My friend went through full mandatory quarantine and after 71 days, I finally received this copy.
It’s sometimes important to remember, freedom isn’t accidental.
