Mary DeMarle ตำแหน่ง Senior Narrative Director ของเกม Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy ได้ออกมายืนยันผ่านสื่อ CBR ว่า เกมดังกล่าวจะมีชุดคอสตูมจากจักรวาลหนัง MCU ให้เพลเยอร์สามารถเลือกสวมใส่ได้

ทาง DeMarle ออกมาเผยว่าเธอรู้สึกชื่นชอบดีไซน์การออกแบบชุดของฮีโร่จาก Guardians of the Galaxy ในจักรวาลหนัง MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) มาก ๆ และแน่นอนว่าในเกมดังกล่าว จะมีชุดคอสตูม Alternate ให้เพลเยอร์สามารถเลือกใส่ได้ตามความชื่นชอบกับรสนิยมของผู้เล่น

ก่อนหน้านี้ DeMarle เคยเผยแล้วว่าในเกม Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy จะมีชุดให้เลือกใส่ทั้งหมด 39 ชุด โดยการออกแบบชุดทั้งหมดได้รับแรงบันดาลมาจากจักรวาลหนังกับคอมิกส์ รวมถึงเกมดังกล่าวจะไม่มี DLC เสริมและ Microsaction เพราะฉะนั้นมีความเป็นไปได้ที่ผู้เล่นสามารถปลดล็อกชุดคอสตูมได้จากการทำ Achievement หรือดำเนินเนื้อเรื่องหลัก
