Last night, we needed to do an emergency Covid swab test, when one of our security officers tested positive. And I was scheduled to be on set for a whole day shoot today🙈
Fortunately, 2 angels came to our rescue at nearly MIDNIGHT - my old friend Dato @deancina from #TeamRescueBencana Malaysia, and he brought along with him Dr @bharathirajaa1988 from Klinik Selva in Puchong, who was willing to do urgent PCR tests at his 24hour clinic lab!
Alhamdulillah, at 3am I got the report that my entire inner household staff and family are CLEAR 🙌🏼 I felt awful for having caused the production to cancel a whole day of shooting on my account, but the producer and director whom I unfortunately can't credit yet, reminded me that this is what filming in this new normal is going to be like, and it was better to keep everyone safe 😪
Anyway, thank you again Dr Bharath and Dean for coming to our rescue at midnight, and for the excellent service with the swab tests and the 1am disinfecting of my cars and house! I'll be a loyal patient of Klinik Selva Puchong from now on💜

Sadly, VSH’s Emergency Service received six suspected dog poisoning cases as of last night. All of the dogs have been to Cyberport on 7th February 2021. The first symptoms seen by the dog owners are increased panting and restlessness, and can start anywhere between 2 hours and as long as 12 hours after exposure.
With the increase in reported dog poisonings in Cyberport (Pok Fu Lam), the Pulse (Repulse Bay) and in Sai Kung, we would recommend all dog owners to avoid these areas, keep your dog on short leashes at all times, keep an extra eye out for suspicious items on walks, prevent your dog from eating anything outside, and put a basket muzzle on if necessary. Also, know where your closest veterinary emergency service facility is. If you suspect your dog might have eaten something suspicious or unknown, or if you see any unusual symptoms, please bring your pet to the emergency veterinarian immediately.
Two of the poisoned patients is still fighting for its life at VSH. VSH emergency veterinarians and specialists, including emergency and critical care specialist Dr Erik Zager, are not only working around the clock to try to save patients, but are aggressively documenting and researching the effects of this poison. This is our first pregnancy so my husband is being extra cautious with everything that is happening with my body. He wants to ensure that our baby is healthy and in good hands. There's a lot of stress and worry during this pregnancy because we don't know what to expect. So we always end up with a pregnancy scare but it's better to be safe than sorry. A stroke is a serious, life-threatening medical condition that occurs when the blood supply to part of the brain is cut off.
Strokes are a medical emergency and urgent treatment is essential because the sooner a person receives treatment for a stroke, the less damage is likely to happen. If you suspect that you or someone else is having a stroke, phone 999 (Malaysia) immediately and ask for an ambulance.
Signs and symptoms
The main symptoms of stroke can be remembered with the word FAST: Face-Arms-Speech-Time.
Face – the face may have dropped on one side, the person may not be able to smile or their mouth or eye may have dropped.
Arms – the person with suspected stroke may not be able to lift both arms and keep them there because of arm weakness or numbness in one arm.
Speech – their speech may be slurred or garbled, or the person may not be able to talk at all despite appearing to be awake.
Time – it is time to dial 999 (Malaysia) immediately if you see any of these signs or symptoms.
