This June holidays, SuperPark Singapore will be launching its inaugural SuperDayCamp! We were stoked to be at the media preview as this Finnish concept indoor activity park remains as one of our favourite places to visit because of the fun it provides for the whole family.

SuperDayCamp takes place every Monday to Wednesday in June and July from 9am to 3pm. It is suitable for kids aged 4 to 12 and they will be divided into different age groups (4-6yo, 7-9yo, 10-12yo). My kids happen to fall into all the different categories so I managed to have a glimpse of what each of them did in his/her respective group, including ball games, obstacle courses, rock climbing and more. Through customised activities, team building games and friendly competitions, the SuperPark crew guided them in developing their self confidence, trained their motor skills and coordination, as well as taught them to work with others.

It was plain to see how happy the girls were tonight and the camp helped them to forge new and closer friendships too. This was definitely a good and fun way to celebrate the end of exams and kick off - they sure did a lot of kicking - the much anticipated mid-year holidays. As for the boy, he got a little overwhelmed and only wanted to stick to me but was happy to try out new tricks like the balance bike and go on his first flying fox attempt too.

I did wish that the waiting time could be reduced but with 14 participants in each group, it did mean that the kids had to queue up and wait patiently - which can be a challenge - for their turns. The good thing is that all the kids will be given full-day access to the park after the camp so they can go wild and be free to play whatever they like for the rest of the day. Yay!

A trishaw ride in KidZania Singapore, how Kool is that?

The kids dressed up as early settlers of Singapore and it instantly made the boy look 10 years older, didn't it? The girls tried on a samsui headdress, held a mortar and pestle, and walked around on traditional clogs. They became coolies for a moment and went around delivering rice sacks. They also went on a fun trivia hunt to find out more about our country's rich history - did you know our national flower, Vanda Miss Joaquim, was chosen from among 40 flowers and this variety called "Agnes" was chosen in particular for its vibrant colours, hardiness and resilience?

From 16 March to 21 April, KidZania celebrates Singapore's progress and achievements at its inaugural KidZ & Heritage event, with activities that shine a spotlight on our nation's founding and development. Kids can look forward to highlights such as:

- Heritage-themed role play activities at Courier Service, Newspaper Edition and Imaging Academy

- 'History of Singapore' Trivia Hunt
Look out for the standees (5 on L1, 3 on L2) and answer all the questions to redeem extra kidZos.

- Heritage Photo Booth at Main Square
Dress up as early settlers and pose for a Kool photo. First 50 families daily to upload their pictures on IG and FB stand to win a Canon Pixma printer.

- Trishaw Experience around the City
Kids get to ride around the city (rider must be 7yo and above) at $5 for 15mins and redeem a free photo too.

- Colouring Activity
Add colours to a heritage-themed sheet.

- Drawing competition by MuzArt
Three categories for kids aged 3-6, 7-9 and 10-12.

The kids might never understand the efforts and hardship our pioneers went through and for sure, they simply had fun playing and pretending. SuperPark Singapore opens TODAY! Designed with Finnish heart, there is something about this Scandinavian concept of an indoor activity park that speaks to us - after all, we lived in that part of the world for a good five years.

What sets this park apart from the rest is that it allows the WHOLE family to come together and play! In fact, the idea was born when Taneli Sutinen was playing with his daughter and trying to navigate the tiny children activities. Since he launched the first SuperPark in 2012, there are now 13 parks in Finland and they have also expanded internationally to Sweden, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia and now, Singapore!

With over 20 activities spread out in a 40,000ft arena, it's by far the biggest indoor playground we have been to and two hours was not long enough for us to finish exploring the entire place.

The park is divided into three themed areas:

1) Adventure Area - Go on the Flying Fox, Pedal Car Track, Tube Slide, Kid's Gym, Sliding Mountains and more. Our favourite was the Pedal Car where you could 'drive' through the course and there were both kid-sized and adult-sized cars.

2) Game Arena - Compete in games like baseball, bowling, basketball, pinball or try out the challenging Robokeeper too. See my stories for how hard it can be!

3) Freestyle Hall - Try out the augmented climbing wall, learn some skate and scoot tricks or just let yourself be free on the trampolines and gymnastic areas. There's also a Clip N Climb activity for those who love rock climbing too. My kids totally loved the trampolines and we spent so much time just watching them jumping.

They were so dismayed when we had to leave because the park closed at 9pm, so I had to promise them that we will be back again. When that happens, I am going to keep my hands free so we can have a SUPER time together! Woohoo!

For this episode, we went down to JOMO to complete an UNDEAFATED 2KG Burger Challenge! JOMO is located at Holland Village and is restaurant + bar concept featuring Western-style cuisine and bar bites. The décor is sleek and minimalistic, appealing to the modern consumer. On top of their standard burger menu, they have an UNDEFEATED burger challenge with a 15-minute time limit. Completing it makes your meal free. Specifically for my challenge, the staff promised to have a company-wide volunteer outing should I complete it in under 10 minutes.

The challenge comes with a 5-patty beef burger. The patties are dry-aged Angus beef from Sidecar. Together with the patties, the burger is loaded with a cheese sauce, onion rings, sliced cheese, bacon and an egg, nestled between 2 toasted buns. Besides the burger, the challenge has chicken-salted fries, purple coleslaw and a Bourbon Vanilla milkshake, with a total weight of around 2KG.

You could taste the dry-aging noticeably in the patties, which had a deep meaty flavour but were a bit on the dry side. Eaten as a package with the cheese, egg and onion rings, the burger really came together as a flavour smorgasbord. The fries had an interesting addition, chicken salt, and you could taste the strong chicken flavour if you licked the salt off the fries. However, eaten en masse and with chilli sauce or ketchup, the mild chicken flavour was drowned out by the stronger ones. The coleslaw was decent, not too sweet and still crunchy but nothing exceptional. The milkshake was very strong alcohol-wise, but pleasant enough to wash down the burger with.

I completed this UNDEFEATED 2KG Burger Challenge in right under 9 minutes, committing the staff at JOMO to partake in a volunteer activity together. The challenge is not overwhelmingly huge or technical, so 15 minutes is a reasonable timing for a large eater. JOMO serves a variety of affordable Western food including other kinds of burgers, steaks and their signature Fish & Chips. Do head down to JOMO to eat your way to a free meal!
