台灣當然可以把我們的經驗分享給其他國家」

明日、#WHO年次総会 がテレビ会議方式で開催されます。
台湾の #新型コロナ封じ込め の成果は世界から注目されています。
外交部部長の呉釗燮は日本のNHKの独占インタビューに応じ(今回も夜7時のゴールデンタイムに放送されました！)、「WHOから台湾が排除されれば、台湾は地理的な空白となる。このことは台湾にとって不公平なだけでなく、世界の感染症予防が行き届かない地域になってしまうおそれもある」
「台湾の新型コロナウイルス対策の経験はかなりの成功を収めてきた。台湾が、このような重要な国際組織などに参加することができれば、ほかの国々とわれわれの経験を分かち合うことができる」と語りました。
台湾はWHO参加を求める過程でさまざまな制約を受けながらも、多くの国々によるエールも受けてきました。こうした声は台湾にとって強力かつ暖かい力となると信じています！

#Japan's national broadcaster #NHK recorded an interview with MOFA minister Joseph Wu ahead of the World Health Assembly which will open online tomorrow! In the #primetime interview, Minister Wu stated 'If Taiwan is excluded from the World Health Organization, we become a blank space on the map. This is not fair to Taiwan, and creates a loophole in global pandemic prevention efforts. We've been quite successful in tackling the #WuhanCoronavirus and, of course, if we were allowed to take part in these important international organizations, we would be happy to share this experience with other countries.' Although Taiwan has been continually thwarted in our bid for WHO membership, there are many countries that have voiced their support for us and we really appreciate that.
