先前有提到新的固定路線巴士即將在清邁上路，在試跑幾天後，將在今明兩天（3月6、7日）開放市民免費試乘，目前釋出的試乘時間將有五班從機場發車，發車時間：
10:00、12:00、14:00、16:00、18:00

【訊息轉發】R3 "Smart Bus" 清邁機場—尼曼明路新路線巴士 4 月可望上路
關於新民營固定路線巴士新線上路的消息已經講了一兩周，看起來這次是真的有機會在 2018 年 4 月上路了。新固定路線由 RTC 公司營運，路線若依站名號碼標示，目前預定的路線是：
Maya 百貨經懷喬路 Huay Kaew ➡️
從北門白象門轉進古城三王像 ➡️
塔佩門 ➡️
Somphet 市場 ➡️
經 Chang Moi 路到 Muang Mai 市場 ➡️
過橋到 Wat Ked ➡️
再繞回對岸走觀光夜市 ➡️
Suriwong 書店（Imperial Mae Ping 飯店對面） ➡️
清邁門 ➡️
打銀街 Wualai ➡️
老清邁文化中心 Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center ➡️
Central Airport Plaza 中央機場百貨 ➡️

沿 Mahidol 路往北沿著古城外走，再轉進素帖路 ➡️

巴士車型目前公告為空調車、可承載旅客 50 名（座位＋站位）、備無線網路、將提供 GPS App 確認車行位置等，目前預計將有 10 輛巴士投入此路線營運，估計約 20 分鐘一班、全線車資 20 泰銖。
根據營運公司與本地媒體報導，更多細節將在 2、3 月廣納意見、陸續決議，預計 4 月上路。若真實現此新線計劃，加上之前主要從長途巴士站起訖的 B1、B2、B3 巴士，以及從機場週邊出發行經古城至濱河邊部分路線的 ปอ.10 線巴士，此後從 Arcade 長途巴士站、火車站到機場之間的交通選擇就更多了。
