When I first started working out, I wanted to see major physical changes, and I was really happy with the discipline I showed and the progress I made. But now that I know I can do it if I want to...I don’t really want to live my everyday life that way. 〰️I don’t really share progress photos or talk about transformations because my life doesn’t really entail that. I workout 6 days a week because I like to. I follow macros (loosely) because I know it helps me keep a certain physique while still enjoying all types of food. And that’s basically it!

I’m always here to answer your questions & help you find ways to reach your fitness goals, and if I can inspire you and help you do that then great! But if I can also just inspire you to live a truly healthy, and balanced life than that means just as much to me (if not more) 🖤

There is nothing wrong with wanting to have your body look a certain way. We all have physical preferences and want to feel confident in our own skin. But, you can still work towards that with accepting yourself where you are and not live everyday in a perpetual state of stress just because you missed a workout, didn’t hit your macros, didn’t eat perfectly clean, etc. Life is too short to let that interfere with your daily happiness—trust me on this one!

Be reflective - do MORE of what you love to do, and try to eliminate doing the things which you don't enjoy so much. Of course in your early stages of doing whatever it is, it is unlikely that you'll be able to do this (bills gotta be paid, yo), but often we get caught up in the motions of life without stopping and thinking... "is this really benefiting my life in any way?"

I used to often find myself doing things just because I have felt like I had to. Recently, however, I have realised how important it is to truly pursue what you love.
I don't know how I ended up doing this whole fitness/social media thing... But I guess it is because I put my all into doing what I enjoy doing. I absolutely LOVE helping people and writing these long ass captions! 😂💖
These few days have been incredible, it made me realise how fortunate I am to have created this life for myself - I appreciate the friendships I have made because of fitness 🙌🏼
