This is the biggest earthquake I’ve felt while living in Taiwan. I hope everyone is safe!

More information on the #earthquake: The epicenter of the quake was located at sea, about 27.2 kilometers east of Yilan County Hall, at a depth of 76.8 km. It was felt throughout Taiwan including northern and northeastern areas as well as central parts of the country and offshore islands, the CWB said.

Retort Bento RetoBen 'Gyu-Don Beef Bowl'. This is new type bento and I like the concept. It's convenient because you can eat it without microwave(without heating). The expiration date is long(3 years), so it's a kind of emergency foods. Btw, Today(September 1st) is Disaster Prevention Day. The day reminds us of the 1923 Great Kantō earthquake. The RetoBen is suitable for that day, isn't it? The only thing is I felt the process(especially before microwave) wasn't appetizing. The tastes is very good so it's a bit bummer. The drink is Fruit Punch Jelly. It contains fruits pulp and nata de coco. The package images Hanabi fire works. I want to see Hanabi festivals next year. The bento is about 500 yen(4.6 USD), The drink is 250 yen(2.3 USD).

兩年前花蓮的地震造成了嚴重損失，其中有一部分是當地的大理石石材。當時覺得可以拿一些變成廢料的板材來做一件屬於花蓮的作品。經過好一陣子的籌備，找到了一起協助完成作品的夥伴。這件作品的名字叫做“拼回來”，是由我和石雕藝術家王標、葉權賢和林立仁共同創作，目前仍在製作中，將在今年與大家見面！

Hualien was devastated by the earthquake in 2018, the devastation extended to our local marble stones. I felt that I could use some of the broken slabs and turn them into an art piece for Hualien. After a while of preparation, I found partners who could help make this all happen. The name of this piece is called “Put it Back Togther”, and it will be co-created by me and four sculptors friends Wang Biao, Yeh Chuan-Hsien and Lin Li-Jen. Work is still undergoing, and it will be ready this year!
These past 2 days we've experienced some major earthquakes but somehow I felt that the baby's kicking was much bigger and overshadowed it. Though it was a 6.4 and 7.1 earthquake, as I was laying on my bed I kept thinking my bellyqauke was much crazier. Maybe it's internal and that's why. I wasn't scared of actual earthquakes as I was with the baby kicks. Probably also due to the fact that I'm getting closer to date and baby can come anytime so it's a scary feeling. 'm seriously such a baby!
