八月是AIT安全合作月！在這整個月中，AIT將彰顯美台夥伴關係中的一大面向：美台安全合作。
你知道美台安全合作包含許多層面嗎？美國和台灣一向共同致力於協助其他國家預備和應對自然災害。2009年莫拉克颱風襲台後，美國隨即展現真摯的友誼，為台灣受災民眾提供人道援助及災害防救的支持。
今年後半年，美、日、台將共同舉辦全球合作暨訓練架構 (GCTF) 人道援助及災害防救國際研討會。像這樣的研討會是一個絕佳的機會，讓全球夥伴能夠齊聚一堂，共同合作應對全球挑戰。
💪🏻SECURITY COOPERATION MONTH 🤝
Did you know that U.S.-Taiwan security cooperation encompasses many different facets? The United States and Taiwan also share a commitment to assist other countries prepare for and respond to natural disasters. When Typhoon Morakot wrought catastrophic damage in 2009, the United States demonstrated its friendship by providing Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) to typhoon victims.
Later this year, the United States, Taiwan, and Japan will cohost a Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) workshop on disaster resilience. Workshops like this are a great opportunity for partners from around the world to learn how we can work together to address shared global challenges.
