In many ways I think this recipe is really versatile. Depending from the place of your origins different methods and different ingredients might be included to infuse that wonderful rich flavour. Your mothers version might just be different from my mothers version. But at the end of the day this dish still shares the same name and roughly the same texture and wonderful, pungent rich spiced aroma.. crispy or not highly likely you’ll find this on most tables on the morning of Eid. This version that my mother taught me is a simplified version. The flavours grows richer with the ingredients added so it’s ok to not have all the needed ingredients.. I usually cook this on my dive trips to @udivemalaysia in Tioman :).. today’s recipe is “Rendang Ayam” •
