So Tim is back in Hong Kong again =( We miss him a lot but he will be back before we know it. To keep me company, Kai decided to crash for the night. We never get up to much but we always enjoy each other’s company. We actually had a mega productive evening. He managed to get some designing done while I got to do quite a lot of writing for my book. Kai and I have always had a blunt relationship. Growing up together, I pretty much taught the little dude to walk. He is more than a cousin to me. To me, he is like my crazy little brother. Sometimes, our relationship and closeness may seem odd to some. I cherish our weird relationship. Without him, how will I learn these new “hip” acronyms? Come on, are teenagers really using these?
Meanwhile, Isaac is taking more interest in our words and even starting to repeat what we say. His pronunciation isn’t quite there yet but we are mega stoked that he is trying. The other night when I was drifting off to sleep, he kissed me on the lips and said “Aye Uv Yooooo”. I tell him I love him everyday but when your child says it back to you, it’s like music to the ears.
