We tried our luck and took our chances at FWFHotpot in KL when plan A for malat hotpot didn't work out. So when a door closes, there's always the window. This window is not bad, vlogged some of it but most of my hotpot visits are in #sycookiesxhotpot (all over every platform- just google it) and while this may not necessarily be crazy lavish in presentation (comparatively to most of the China hot pot restaurant), it's justified with the slightly lower in pricing in general. Now don't get me wrong, cause you'll still see gold dragons and such, just no smoke blowing and piping out from figurine in your serving plates that's all. I'd recommend going with the trio soup option, and start with the least spicy to the spiciest choice of soup.
Like the other China hotpot restaurants, menu makes sense mostly if you could read Chinese. Cause the English translation usually wouldn't make sense in actual definition. Take someone who'd read mandarin or the ordering gets a little challenging... 😣
