王牌出手 ~『Montecristo Double Edmundo』
#Montecristo 品牌的歷史可以追溯到1935年,其原始尺寸之一Montecristo No. 2仍然是世界上最受歡迎的雪茄之一。 (Cigar Aficionado票選出的2013年度雪茄。)
然而,任何一款雪茄品牌,無論是成功的還是乏人問津的,都需要注入些活水讓雪茄客們覺得耳目一新。因此Habanos SA在2004年推出了『Edmundo』系列,以拓展Montecristo品牌的產品線。
Montecristo Edmundo系列是一款更加厚實的雪茄,環徑為50。緊接著在2007年,Montecristo推出了Petit Edmundo,更胖、且更短。
2013年,Montecristo更換雪茄標之際,『#DoubleEdmundo』也在這一年頂著新標進入市場。它和Petit一樣厚實,但更長,這樣的雪茄尺寸趨向非古巴系列的大尺寸主流,也是趨勢,因為這樣的雪茄能夠捲入更多配方葉,為雪茄客呈現更多層次的風味與口感。
Montecristo Edmundo系列雪茄(Edmundo,Double Edmundo和Petit Edmundo)很快地就超越改品牌的其他暢銷款,受到眾多雪茄客的喜愛,嚴然已成為Montecristo該品牌的王牌。
小編尤其特別鍾愛Double Edmundo,他就是我記憶中的古巴雪茄。

大家應已知道該品牌的名字來源於亞歷山大·杜馬斯(Alexandre Dumas)的小說“基督山恩仇記”(The Count of Monte Cristo)。
Edmundo 系列就是來自故事的主角Edmundo Dantes。(Dantes也是雪茄系列名)
這樣的命名方式挺有趣,也有其依循性。正如許多古巴品牌一樣,Montecristo試圖藉由在其品牌名延伸相關的命名來向其根源致敬,也因此後人也有說故事的題材。(Cohiba Behike或Partagas Lusitania也是喔)。
梗鋪了這樣久,開始進入品茄主題。
Double Edmundo在2014菜鳥年就已經進入明星隊,取得該年最後歡迎的25支雪茄中,排名第15位,評分為92/100。
點燃後吸入的第一口,猶如聽著德布西的"月光",感受到愉悅與靜逸。極其明顯的杉木味,隨著燃燒溫ˋ度帶出些許的花生和奶油的鹹甜味道,小編很喜歡。
到目前為止,我所抽的所有Edmundos系列幾乎都有完美的捲菸結構。漂亮扎實的包裝和外觀。抽的過程體驗很棒,容易抽出濃煙,但這樣可以提醒你要慢慢地抽,品嘗這支雪茄,我喜歡採取超級慢和長時間的抽吸來確保它不會過熱。
前段結束前要特別注意,悄悄流過的香氣中會顯露出一些櫻桃味,挺逗!
抽到一半後,Double Edmundo的第二部分似乎靜置下來,層次延續著前三分之一,但就是死寂了,儘管整體仍然令人愉快,但仍可以明確得到一些杉木和可可的味道,且由於結構良好,抽到中段燃燒依舊完美啊。
抽到後段,完全可以品嚐到關於標準古巴雪茄基調:皮革、奶油與木質香。且比開始時更甘甜,我覺得它似乎正在為一場即將營的結局而最後後努力演出。
小小可惜,抽到最後...,苦澀的音符出現了(但這通常都是雪茄客都會常遇到的狀況),就像一個丟入水中的水鴛鴦,撲通後結束了,並沒有出現選舉場候選人大進場的驚豔句點。
上一段,顯得小編有點雞蛋裡挑骨頭了。
Double Edmundo是支一定要抽的雪茄,他喚起了我對古巴的記憶。總的來說,這是一支很好的雪茄,我相信它完整了Montecristo雪茄款式陣容,並且可以延續長達10到15年。這款不會是長期收藏的雪茄,但它會一直是我的心頭好。

Why the Global Recession Could Last a Long Time
The world is almost certainly ensnared ( ) in a devastating ( ) recession ( ) delivered by the coronavirus pandemic.
Now, fears are growing that the downturn ( ) could be far more punishing and long lasting than initially feared — potentially enduring ( ) into next year, and even beyond — as governments intensify ( ) restrictions on business to halt ( ) the spread of the pandemic, and as fear of the virus reconfigures ( ) the very concept of public space, impeding ( ) consumer-led economic growth.
So long as human interaction remains dangerous, business cannot responsibly return to normal. And what was normal before may not be anymore. People may be less inclined to ( ) jam into crowded restaurants and concert halls even after the virus is contained ( ).
The abrupt halt of commercial activity threatens to impose ( ) economic pain so profound and enduring in every region of the world at once that recovery could take years. The losses to companies, many already saturated ( ) with debt, risk triggering ( ) a financial crisis of cataclysmic ( ) proportions.
“This is already shaping up as the deepest dive on record for the global economy for over 100 years,” said Kenneth S. Rogoff, a Harvard University economist. “Everything depends on how long it lasts, but if this goes on for a long time, it’s certainly going to be the mother of all financial crises.”
The situation looks uniquely dire ( ) in developing countries, which have seen investment rush for the exits this year, sending currencies ( ) plummeting ( ), forcing people to pay more for imported food and fuel, and threatening governments with insolvency ( ) — while the pandemic threatens to overwhelm ( ) inadequate ( ) medical systems.
Among investors, a hopeful scenario holds currency: Once the virus is contained, enabling people to return to offices and shopping malls, life will snap back ( ) to normal.
But the world that emerges ( ) is likely to be choked ( ) with trouble, challenging the recovery. Mass joblessness ( ) exacts societal costs. Widespread bankruptcy ( ) could leave industry in a weakened state, depleted ( ) of investment and innovation.
If anxiety endures and people are reluctant to spend, expansion will be limited — especially as continued vigilance ( ) against the coronavirus may be required for years.
“The psychology won’t just bounce back,” said Charles Dumas, chief economist at TS Lombard, an investment research firm in London. “People have had a real shock. The recovery will be slow, and certain behavior patterns ( ) are going to change, if not forever at least for a long while.”

哈佛大學經濟學家羅格夫說:「這是一百多年來,全球經濟紀錄上最嚴重的衰退。一切都取決於它會持續多久,但若這種情況持續很長,它肯定會成為所有金融危機的根源。」

然而,新出現的世界很可能會陷入困境,使經濟復甦受到挑戰。大規模失業使社會付出代價。普遍的破產恐使得產業處於虛弱狀態,致使投資與創新能力枯竭。
若焦慮持續且人們不願花錢,經濟擴張將會相當有限,尤其是在可能必須對冠狀病毒持續保持警戒許多年的情況下。
倫敦投資研究公司TS Lombard首席經濟學家查理.杜馬斯說:「人們的心理不會輕易就恢復。人們受到了很大的震撼。恢復過程將是緩慢的,某些行為模式將會改變,就算不是永久性的,至少也會持續很長一段時間。」

請大家思考個問題,儒家認為禪讓是良好美談,法家則認為是歷史騙局。但傳賢不傳子如果是儒家所推崇,為什麼長期歷史發展以來,奉儒家禮法為圭臬的大臣往往堅持太子應立嫡立長呢?
首先,太子應該立長,如果根據賢能程度,到底誰更賢能?很難有統一標準,大家都覺得自己有能力當皇帝,鬥爭內亂,國家不穩。因此把年齡、出生當作唯一標準,最好識別、沒有爭議,最能鞏固及維持皇家秩序。
其次,皇帝核心任務是做好正統性的象徵,不必做具體的事,除了我們熟知秦皇漢武唐宗宋祖名太祖明成祖等幾乎事必躬親,大多皇帝都是仰賴文官體系做事,因此稍微不賢能的皇帝也能接受。
立長成為規矩,文官們維護正統、不畏強權跟皇帝對幹,如果被懲處或被打屁股,僥倖不死,還能獲得巨大的聲望。倘若背棄長子,參與奪嫡之爭,站錯隊伍,滿門抄斬,風險太大。立長不立賢對文官自己最無風險,又能獲得名望,是最佳選擇。
回到現在企業,通用電氣的CEO傑克·威爾許曾用了十年的時間培養接班人。他選了一千人,雖然最後只有一個人能成為CEO,但一千人在選拔過程中能力都提升了。對通用電氣來說,等於連續十年都不斷在傳遞核心能力。
萬科企業創始人王石曾說,我不培養接班人,只建立制度、培養團隊。團隊中誰當班長,由制度決定。
當團隊能持續為股東盈利、保有創業精神,不就是創業者的「子」嗎?
王石一言足為所有企業找尋接班人的典範。團隊繼承,迭代發展。既是傳「賢」,也是傳「子」。

19世紀初,馬車盛行,但馬的項圈都很硬,拉車時馬的脖子很容易受傷。法國一名少年不忍心,費工夫設計了能保護馬的一系列馬具。馬受到保護後跑得更快,加上產品設計具有美感,生意大獲好評。
他的店,叫「愛馬仕」。
當初翻譯的人翻譯的真好......。愛馬仕做為家族企業到了第四代,已傳給了「杜馬斯」,但仍然把這個品牌經營的有聲有色,推向顛峰。

(1995-96 season). As a player, he also received the J. Walter Kennedy Citizens
hip Award for his outstanding service and dedication to the community.

BA Basketball Executive of the Year for the 2002-03 season.

onships in the 1988-89 and 1989-90 seasons and was named the Most Valuable Playe
r of the 1989 NBA Finals. He is the franchise leader in games played.

Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.
In addition to his success as an NBA player and executive, Dumars served as Pres
ident of Basketball Division for Independent Sports & Entertainment (ISE), an in
tegrated sports, media, entertainment and management company, from 2017-19. He
also founded the automotive supply company Detroit Technologies Inc. and Joe Du
mars Fieldhouse, an indoor sports and entertainment complex with two locations i
n the Detroit area.

A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Dumars holds a bachelor’s degree in business
management from McNeese State University, where he had a legendary basketball c

mber of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame.
