最近一個新到任的是加勒比海友邦貝里斯的大使碧坎蒂（Candice Pitts），她在4月6日下午拜會外交部長吳釗燮遞送到任國書副本。
國書有兩種，一種是 #國書正本，一種是 #國書副本；這兩種國書給的對象不一樣。
副本國書要先遞送 #外交部長
正本國書之後要呈送 #總統
派遣國新到任的大使只有在遞送副本國書給外交部長後，才代表獲得駐在國(台灣)的承認，大使也才可以行使職務。

Ambassador Candice Pitts of #Belize presented a copy of her credentials to MOFA Minister Joseph Wu earlier in the week as she prepares to take up her post in #Taiwan. The pair also exchanged opinions on issues of common concern for both countries.
Minister Wu welcomed Ambassador Pitts, pointing out that this is her first time in Taiwan and that he hopes she is able to enjoy the beauty of Taiwan and the friendliness of its people, adding that he hopes to strengthen Taiwan-Belize cooperation.
Ambassador Pitts described Taiwan as an important ally of Belize and thanked the country for carrying out projects in the country to promote its people's welfare and to help the government in the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. She stated her hope that the economic cooperation agreement signed in September, 2020 will soon go into effect and that trade between the countries can increase in the wake of the pandemic.
