อาสาประชาชน ผู้ทราบข่าวสลดใจจากเพจทาสแมว เหตุ เจ้าของบ้านเช่า บุกงัดกุญแจบ้านผู้เช่า ซึ่งเลี้ยงแมวระบบปิด 35 ชีวิต จนแมวตกใจ เตลิดหนี แล้วปล่อยให้หมาเข้ามากัดตายอนาถ 3 ตัว สูญหายอีกนับสิบ

ประชาชนร้อง WDT ขอความช่วยเหลือประสานการดำเนินคดี
เหตุ คุณสมนึก ชายหนุ่มจิตรกรวาดภาพฝาผนังโบสถ์ ผู้เช่าบ้านพักอาศัยย่านบางกรวย
เลี้ยงแมว 35 ตัว ในระบบปิดด้วยความรักและเอาใจใส่
เจ้าของแมว ต้องไปทำงานต่างจังหวัดคราวละสองวัน จึงปิดบ้านมิดชิด
ปกป้องอันตรายรอบด้านให้แมวน้อยทั้งหลาย พร้อมจัดอาหารและน้ำไว้ให้อย่างพอเพียง

ด้วยเศรษฐกิจที่ยากลำบาก ทำให้คุณสมนึกเจ้าของแมวติดค้างค่าเช่าสองเดือน
และกำลังเร่งทำงานเขียนภาพฝาผนังโบสถ์เพื่อหาเงินมาชำระหนี้

เพียงสองวันก่อนเกิดเหตุ ผู้ให้เช่าโทรไปข่มขู่คุณสมนึก
ให้นำเงินมาชำระค่าเช่าที่ติดค้างโดยเร็วมิฉะนั้นจะปล่อยแมวออกมาให้หมด
คุณสมนึกรับปากว่าจะนำเงินมาชำระให้แน่นอน
แต่เช้าวันที่ เช้าวันที่16 ตุลาคม 2558 ที่ผ่านมา
ผู้ให้เช่า กลับขนอิฐดินมาถมทิ้งรอบบริเวณ แล้วงัดกุญแจเข้าไปในบ้าน
ปลดเชือก ลาก "ขาว"แมวน้อยป่วยเป็นมะเร็งลูคีเมีย ที่เจ้าของแยกไว้
เพื่อดูแลและป้องกันโรคติดต่อ ออกมาให้ลูกของตนลากดึงเล่น
แล้วปล่อยให้แมวน้อยหลายสิบชีวิตที่เคยอยู่อย่างสงบสุข
ต้องตกใจ กระจัดกระจายเตลิดหนีความอึกทึกทั้งหลายที่เกิดขึ้น

พยานผู้เห็นเหตุการณ์ทนไม่ไหวเข้ามาตัดเชือกออก
หวังปล่อยให้แมวน้อยหลบหนีเข้าไปภายในบ้าน
แต่ไม่ทันการณ์กับหมาหลายตัวของผู้ให้เช่าที่ติดตามมาด้วย
เข้ารุมขย้ำขาว จนเสียชีวิตอนาถคาพงหญ้า
แล้วนิ่งดูดายปล่อยให้หมาเข้าไปในบ้าน รุมขย้ำ "เปลือกแว่น" อายุ 9 ปี
พร้อม"เจ้าดำ" แมวน้อยอายุเพียงสองเดือนตายคาห้อง

เจ้าของแมว รับทราบเรื่องจากการโทรแจ้งของผู้ให้เช่า
ขณะกำลังเร่งรุดกลับจากการทำงาน เพื่อนำเงินมาชำระตามนัด
คุณสมนึกร้องไห้โฮ หัวใจสลายกับสภาพบ้านที่เละเทะ และซากชีวิตของแมวน้อยทั้งสาม
จึงประสานขอความช่วยเหลือจากเพื่อนคนรักสัตว์ผู้มีเมตตาและเคยช่วยเหลือเกื้อกูลกันมา
โพสแจ้งเพจ ทาสแมว หาผู้ช่วยเหลือมาค้นหาแมวที่ตกใจเตลิดหนี
จนติดตามกลับมาได้กว่ายี่สิบชีวิตและยังคงเฝ้ารอคอยและติดตามแมวที่เหลืออยู่จนถึงขณะนี้

ดังนั้น กว่าจะพากันไปแจ้งความลงบันทึกประจำวันไว้ที่ส.ภ.บางกรวย
และตำรวจสายตรวจ สภ.บางกรวย ลงพื้นที่สอบสวนที่เกิดเหตุ
ก็เป็นเวลาล่วงเข้าตีสามของวันใหม่เข้าไปแล้ว

WDT ร่วมเป็นกำลังใจให้เจ้าของ เข้ายืนยันการร้องทุกข์กล่าวโทษ
เหตุอาญาแผ่นดิน เจตนาทารุณกรรมสัตว์ บุกรุก และทำให้เสียทรัพย์
พร้อมประสาน พ.ต.ท. รพีพงษ์ จิตบุญธรรม ร้อยเวรเจ้าของคดี
ซึ่งยืนยันให้ความเป็นธรรมเตรียมนัดหมายคู่กรณีเข้าให้ปากคำ
และสอบสวนพยาน รวบรวมหลักฐาน

ทำให้เสียทรัพย์ เป็นคดีที่ยอมความได้
แต่เจตนาทารุณกรรมสัตว์ เป็นอาญาแผ่นดินและเป็นคดีที่ยอมความไม่ได้
ผู้ใด เจตนากระทำผิดต่อสัตว์อย่างไร้ปรานี สมควรต้องได้รับการตัดสินลงโทษ

WDT หวังว่า เรื่องราวสลดใจนี้ จะเป็นอุทาหรณ์และตัวอย่างให้เกิดความรู้ความเข้าใจ
และมีเมตตาต่อกันของคนในสังคม
ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสังคมของคนรักสัตว์หรือไม่ก็ตาม

การทะเลาะเบาะแว้ง ความไม่พอใจ และลุแก่โทสะของคน
อาจเป็นสาเหตุให้สัตว์ด้อยโอกาส ไม่รู้อิโหน่อิเหน่อะไร
ต้องมาเสียชีวิตอย่างน่าเสียดายและน่าสงสารที่สุด

RIP แมวน้อยทั้ง 3 ชีวิต และเป็นกำลังใจให้เจ้าของแมวติดตามแมวที่เหลือกลับมาได้ครบถ้วน
และปลอดภัยจากอันตรายทั้งปวง

A landlord lock picked a renter’s house, where 35 cats bred in closed-system, leaving them frightened until scattering. What’s more, he let dogs bite 3 of them to death, and more than 10 others are yet to be found.
One of our volunteer who noticed this news via CatSlave(ทาสแมว) page on facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/tasmaew/permalink/589271191221863/, has contacted us WDT to make a prosecution. The situation was that Mr. Somneuk, an artist painting on temples’ walls, who rent a house in Bang Kruai, feeds 35 cats in the closed system with love and care, until he had a debt to pay for his rental payment for 2 months to the landlord, which drove him to work harder on painting walls for the money.

However, 2 days before the tragedy occurred, the landlord called him and threatened him to pay the debt or else he will unleash them. Mr. Somneuk promised to pay the debt, but that was not enough to make the land lord believe in his words. The tragedy of all cats begins on October 16th, 2015, when the landlord lockpicked the house, roped the door, and pulled“Kaw”, a little cat with a luchemia, which has been kept separately from others to prevent the infection, to leave it being pulled by other little kitties. Also, this situation frightened other cats and make them running away with fear.

Witnesses cannot take this happening and cut the rope, hoping to let the escaping cats getting into the house, but it was not on time. The landlord’s dogs which followed him had come and bitten Kaw to death in the bush, and even worse, he let them bite “PleurkWan” a nine-year-old cat, and “Dum”, a two-month-old cat, to death as well.

After what has happened, the owner of the cats knew this after he was called by the landlord as he was trying to come back to his house to pay the debt. He saw what remained and blew into tears as he realized the death of his 3 beloved cats. He then tried to ask for help from dog and cat lovers to post this news on CatSlave page on facebook to help him find all other lost cats until there were around 20 cats returned. Now he is trying to wait for others to return as well.

About informing the case to the police at Bang Kruai Police Station, it was 3 a.m. in the early morning in the next day that the police finished their investigation.

WDT would like to encourage the owner to inform the case and make a prosecution as intentional act on harming animals, invading the properties, and damaging things, and we made a coordination with Mr. Rapeepong Jitboonthum, the official who received the case, who informed us back that he would make a further investigation to collect more information through witness, evidence, and the claim from the accused.

Intentional act on harming animal, unlike damaging properties, is not compoundable offense, those who is found as committing this criminal act would surely be sentenced.
This way, WDT hope that this tragedy will be the example to let the public know about the society around and to make them realize the kindness toward animals. Any argument, any anger, should not be the cause of death towards our pitiful animals which we all love.

RIP toward 3 dear little cats, and keep our finger crossed to the owner to find all other cats lost in the shadow.
