哈利波特原文書買了2年吧（媽媽早早就準備好🤣），小布一開始說很可怕不敢看，本來以為要等到高年級之後才有可能看，也或許都不會看，反正就不抱期望了🙄。

前幾天不知道哪根筋不對，又再度拿起來，以為也只是3分鐘熱度而已，畢竟要看每集都那麼厚的小說真的是一種挑戰💪，沒想到，她就這樣一直看下去了，停不下來的那種，她說很有趣，還會邊看邊笑🤣。

因為不制止，就會一直看下去，所以看原文書現在也變成一種獎勵，做完一件事，才可以看一個chapter🤣。

【四歲起浸潤英語環境】
或許，是我自己的求學過程中，曾經受到過「英文學習」的荼毒吧，我家阿肥（是的，還是這位，有著與錯號全然相反體型的故事主角）打從出生那天起，就被他爸爸決定了必須上全美語幼兒園的命運。也不知道是對是錯，但他老爸始終相信，如果把英文當作是一個科目來學習，就必然會是一個痛苦的起始。所以，就因為他老爸抱有這樣的想法，阿肥的中班大班，就在全美語幼兒園度過。
【全部管與全不管拔河】
雖然，我也想過在阿肥的英語學習過程中「全部管」，但礙於發音不標準，索性就實施了「全不管」的策略。我們挑的幼兒園，是一間以歡樂口碑著稱的全美語幼兒園。20個學生一班，搭配兩位外師，一個黑臉丶一白臉（注：不是膚色），基本上就是沒有功課，類似在玩樂中學習語言。跟一般雙語幼兒園比起來，只學美語對阿肥來說自然是輕鬆很多。至於中文的部分，正如你所知的，又是秉持著捨我其誰丶越挫越勇的父母一手攬下，施以中文繪本攻堅的方式，畢盡，繪本以中文發音，我們還是比較有信心的。
【中英文分流的好與壞】
正是因為全美語丶中文母語分層負責的概念，所以我們在家裡時，基本上都沒有聽美語ＣＤ丶沒有外文兒歌，全部交給幼兒園，但時間久了，我們慢慢發現，雖然在同年齡的小朋友中，阿肥的美語能力是比較強的，可是跟美語同班的小朋友比起來，阿肥的學習速度其實還是偏慢；而中文方面，在兩位捨我其誰的父母，雜亂無章丶有一搭沒一搭的安排之下，自然也是收穫了一個成果不豐的狀態，但至少還算是有緩慢的向前進步著。父母兩人也在各種的自我安慰下，說服了自己持續這種「歡樂打底」的學習方式。
【素養培育考父母耐心】
小一開始，這種「只打底」的學習方式馬上就原形畢露了，當潮水退去，馬上看清楚是誰在裸泳。歡樂的幼兒園生活一結束，緊接著就是進入那總是被罵翻的義務教育體系，雖然阿肥讀的是一所新的公立學校（真的很新，全新第一屆，入學當下的校舍也只完成了20%的區域），校長也是一位擁有好評不斷的實驗體制小學創辦者，當然也配合著如燙手山芋一般，全新熱騰騰的108課綱，標榜著不重視成績丶培育「素養」的指導方針，班上不排名藉以淡化考試成績的比重。但是，經過我一學期的明察秋毫之下，阿肥確實在國語丶數學上的表現，很是普通，似乎每每都拿下全班最末的前五名（60～70分）。
【持續引發中英讀書趣】
世上沒有後悔藥這句話是對的，這樣的成績表現，儘管爸媽在阿肥面前沒有多說什麽，但他還是因此自信全無，一入小一就面對了學習路程上的第一個坎，可以說是一個父母精心為他安排而成的坎。生米煮成熟飯，這樣的既定事實，再說什麽也沒用，眼下只能持續引發他的讀書樂趣，期待他未來可以藉由興趣閱讀丶喜愛閱讀丶大量閱讀，而翻轉往後的學習狀況。
【適齡適性或許都重要】
切確開始的時間我已經不記得了，約略是在某個艷陽高照的2018午後（升小一前），我們幫阿肥找了一位大學生英文家教，數學系丶小學階段待過美國數年丶喜歡哈利波特，他的教學方式：不背單字丶不練句型，就只是念英文故事書，他一句丶肥一句，就這麽你一句丶他一句的，一念就是兩年，其實這樣的方式也是阿肥他老爸我的建議，從「讀書樂趣」出發，期望的就是有朝一日，阿肥可以燃起自主的英文閱讀之火。這段期間，我們也曾為了找到阿肥喜歡的讀本而困擾了許久，也當然誤買了些許的英文故事書，這些深刻的血淚體驗，在在都述說著小孩的圖書要「適齡適性」的重要。
【聽說讀寫真愛力量大】
Tr. Jeffrey—阿肥的數學系高材生英語家教老師（真是好長的頭銜，讓我想到權力遊戲冰與火之歌里的角色），曾經透露過，他好像是小六回到台灣學習中文，早前因家人工作派遣跟著到美國時，在台灣只學了些許的中文字與注音，所以在小六回到台灣讀小學時，他的中文程度可真算得上是戰況慘烈，還好遇上了一位認真負責的小學班導師，特別為他指派了一個品學兼優的學霸女同學，犧牲午休，天天加強中文認字與注音。其實平心而論，這樣被中斷兩次的求學背景之下，有很大的機率會造成他的中文丶英文程度，雙雙中箭落馬的災難，但是，或許是上天眷顧，他當時剛好愛上了…不是他小六的學霸女同學，而是哈利波特的原文書，所以就開始發憤圖強，幸運的持續維持了良好的英文接觸，又在愛情的滋潤下，補足了過往在中文程度上的虛空。
【最好的方式語音共讀】
眼看2020 Tr. Jeffrey 畢業的大日子即將到來，我們在最後所剩不多的14堂星期二的課中，改變了方式，這次讓阿肥自己讀，而Tr. Jeffery 後面跟著問問題丶解釋字詞的意思。鳳凰花開之時，家教老師真的畢業了，伴隨著不捨的眼淚，緊接著而來的就是阿肥英文閱讀材料的斷炊。此刻，聰明如我，立刻把腦筋動到了那55本中英雙語的神奇樹屋合集。由於這套神奇樹屋中文版的部分，阿肥自己已經讀過，所以，我再讓他找一本喜歡的，而這次從英文的部分下手。一開始我就發現他自己讀還是遭遇些許的困難，作為資深後勤部隊丶身兼數職丶任勞任怨丶靈活又富有彈性的父母，又立馬展開了不知道第幾批次的神救援，迅速的又將神奇樹屋的朗讀ＣＤ彈藥替補上，而這一次，可謂一髮不可收拾，從小二下學期一直到暑假開始的一個多月里，立馬又聽了十幾集。
【機不可失切入you know who】
伴隨著神奇樹屋的朗讀ＣＤ，2020的暑假一溜煙就過去了，神奇樹屋的最後20本左右，我開始刻意提醒阿肥，強調一邊聽故事丶一邊看文字的重要性，我跟他說：「…如果能夠這樣做，馬上就會有能力看一套很厲害丶很有趣丶有魔法丶特搞怪的故事書…當時作者快要無路可走，交不出生活費，孩子沒有飯吃，忽然有一天，她這本故事書大賣，成為了最有名氣的作家，全世界都喜大普奔….」。是的，早些日子之前，我就一直不斷在對阿肥鋪梗，不斷的在他的腦海裡植入「有一套很好看的故事書—哈利波特」。最後，我認為時機到了：讀完55本神奇樹屋原文，歡樂全美語教學四年，為期兩年為愛出發的家教故事讀手，這一切的一切，都比不上一張好巧不巧抽中的「藝放優惠卷」，可謂優惠一到手，立馬就出手，當天就騎著歐都拜，到了誠品書店，敗下了Harry Potter Jim kay插畫版，899元一本。扣掉藝放優惠卷只要299 (幣別1:4.3)。
【重施興趣誘發好模式】
然後，準備要收尾了，希望這次的文章不要太虎頭蛇尾，掰掰~~！！
餵～～還沒結束好嗎？！這本插畫版的書還真是製作精美，其實，哈利波特歷久不衰，江湖上也流通著很多不同的版本，但多半是簡單插畫的版本。我會一開始就從最貴的插畫版入手，一方面，是擔心一般版本的文字太多丶圖太少丶阿肥的英文程度還不到位（英文為母語的國家，哈利波特是推薦給小四丶小五學生的閱讀材料），另一方面，主要還是因為有優惠卷，精神誠可貴丶優惠價更高，這也大大降低了血本無歸的風險。回歸正題，那阿肥拿到書後，事情就這樣成了嗎？果不然，他還是在第一章就卡關了，他說「…都一直在說什麽誰丶什麽又怎樣…沒有哈利波特…」是的，哈利波特第一集的第一章，是真的很無聊，很難讓阿肥—一個英文程度還稍顯不足的非母語小屁孩，也很難讓我—小屁孩他爸，一舉愛上這曠世巨著，此時我的心中一涼，心想著還是洗洗先睡了，難不成就真的是注定要血本無歸了？
【吊足胃口好奇立大功】
此時，YouTube上的故事朗讀頻道立了大功，不屈不饒丶越挫越勇的老爸，終於找出了網上的朗讀版，不知道是不是免費的緣故，頻道主人念得既快又急，是沒停頓丶也沒音效的，但這恰恰符合了阿肥的胃口，快速的把第一章丶第二章比較無聊的部分帶過，迅速地進入了主題，經過了大約兩禮拜，每天睡前一丶兩章節聽故事的過程之後，劇情迅速地發展到最後的一個章節，此時，哈利正忙著與密室中第一集的大Boss對抗，狠心的老爸也趁機在此時使出了教養書中的「絕秘禁術」「要知道後來怎樣，最後一章請自己讀！」放出了這吊足胃口的大絕招之後，英文閱讀的連鎖反應核彈，就這樣被瞬間引爆！
【要陪伴到底該怎麽陪】
目前阿肥已經讀到第二集的一半了，他說這一本他要自己讀，先不聽朗讀，因為他認為「…自己念比較能想像…＠＃＄％」，看不懂阿肥的說的話嗎？沒關係，我的翻譯是，「聽」這本書可能礙於語速過快，比較難同時一邊聽丶一邊想像，很多的情節一聽而過；但若是自己讀，就可以按造自己的速度，慢慢品味與想像了。好的，要給各位來個正式的結尾了，觀察了阿肥丶阿肥他弟—楚楚丶阿肥同學丶阿肥朋友，我發現了一個真理，其實，每一個小孩的學習曲線，都真的是天差地遠丶全然不同的，只有「家長的陪伴」才能在小孩不同的求學階段中，適時適性的找到最適合的教材（這裡我用「最適合」，而不是「最好的」來描述）。學習的路真的很長，現在才剛剛進入小三，現有的數學丶國語60-70分，我相信對很多家長來說，都會是一個硬傷（我也受傷挺重的）。但換個角度想，與其讓他冒著自信全無的風險，慌慌亂亂丶七手八腳地彌補跟前的不足，到還不如讓他繼續累積基本功，讓他喜歡上閱讀，慢慢在學習的長路上取得成就感，若能如此，我相信大多數的孩子，在最後一定會愛上讀書，成為一個有能力自主學習丶勇於挑戰丶發展無限的人。

這裡標注「ＣＤ」是讓孩子一邊聽ＣＤ一邊看書。標注「共讀」是父母一起共讀或請家教共讀（最少一禮拜兩天，每次1hr）。正規的全美語安親班不算，這樣額外的閱讀規劃，對於建立「愛閱讀原文書」的習慣是非常有效的。雖然小孩現階段考試不一定會有好成績，但相信只要讓孩子愛上閱讀原文書，在未來的英文實力必定強大，考試成績自然也不會太差。一起為孩子點燃閱讀之火吧！
大家有聽過crumpet嗎？
Crumpets的原料是麵粉、牛奶、糖/鹽與最重要的酵母。Crumpets的長相不算好看，甚至有點獵奇：正圓形又帶點厚度的一片麵餅，其中一面還佈滿讓有密集恐懼症的人不敢直視的無數孔洞。顏色灰白帶點焦黃，聞起來有淡淡酵母味，也不甚討喜。 但可別小看這隱藏在超市無數麵包堆中的便宜貨，crumpets是許多英國人心目中的「療癒食物」。
Crumpets是怎麼樣一個療癒法呢？首先一定要把Crumpets烤的燙手冒著熱氣，然後趁熱的時候抹上大量奶油，當熱氣把奶油熏融了，奶油就會恰恰好都滴落在那些小洞中，最後再抹上果醬或擺上火腿片，大口咬下吸飽奶油香味四溢的crumpets，怎麼可能會不療癒呢？
Crumpets這默默一直站在英國歷史一角的食物打從安格魯薩克遜時代就存在。早期的crumpets使用蕎麥粉製作，但長得比較像煎餅還不是現代大家所熟知的洞洞餅。要一直到維多利亞時期酵母越發普及與製作crumpets專用的圓形模具出現，crumpets才漸漸長成一面充滿小洞又帶點厚度的圓餅。
Crumpets是不分階級人人都愛的一道點心，甚至《哈利波特》裡也提到了兩次crumpets（強力推薦對英國食物有興趣的人去看哈利波特原文版，會發現羅琳不遺餘力地幫英國食物做很多至入性行銷😆）
在英國的威爾斯地區又稱crumpets為「pikelets」，有些人說這其實就是crumpet的原型;但也有人說pikelets是「窮人的crumpet」，因為窮人買不起製作圓形crumpet的模具，因此pikelets才會長得歪七扭八。不管如何現在不管是說crumpets還是pikelets，都是指這種充滿孔洞的酵母煎餅。
為了讓大家更認識英國人怎麼吃crumpets，小英特別下海拍攝了一支「如何吃crumpets」的短片。要注意的是他只負責教怎麼吃，不會教大家怎麼做。因為「買超市現成crumpets」也已經成了現代英國人的主流。我因為不想購買crumpets模具所以也偷懶沒自己做，如果你的居住地買不到crumpets，可以參考以下食譜：
準備食材：
麵粉 350g
一撮鹽
15g 酵母
1茶匙糖
400ml 牛奶
奶油果醬等配料
製作方式：
1.酵母加入牛奶跟糖中，其他乾料混合均勻
2.把乾料濕料混合，攪拌均勻之後蓋上保鮮膜或蓋子靜置一小時發酵
3.攪拌發酵後的麵糊，麵糊應該是具有一點流動性的感覺，再靜置10分鐘
4.熱鍋，塗上奶油。圓形模具也塗上一層油（如果你沒有crumpet專用模具，也可以使用任何其他圓形模具，大小大約直徑7.5公分，高2公分）
5.在鍋裡擺上模具倒入麵糊到一半高度，煎5分鐘直到小孔出現，翻面稍微再煎一下即可。

去年因為一檔Podcast的啟發(https://hpup.fireside.fm/)，所以真的從Harry Potter第
一集開始看原文，展開了4,224頁的文字旅行。
不過因為這次看的是原文，不會像看中文一樣，直接掃過一堆形容詞，意外的覺得好看。
以下是看的過程中覺得有趣的地方與感想，與大家分享。
只是究竟不是什麼很懂的粉絲，所以理解錯誤的地方大家笑笑就算了XD~
