黨參茯苓扁豆衣茶
功效:益氣健脾、利水祛濕。
材料:黨參9克、茯苓6克、扁豆衣9克
做法:材料剪碎洗淨放保溫瓶,以熱開水沖洗一遍,注入熱開水焗約15分鐘即可。此茶可反覆沖泡至味淡,建議一星期連續飲用3-4天,連續兩星期為一個療程。

Dispel dampness to improve sloth-like personality
“I’m quite plump even when though I’m not a big eater. Edema is a constant struggle for my body, and I feel lethargic all the time. My friends even make fun of me by calling me a sloth. I want to turn my life around. I want to get a better job and find myself a partner. Should I start by losing weight?”
CheckCheckCin: From the perspective of Chinese Medicine, symptoms like plump, appetite loss, edema, and fatigue reflect the phlegm-dampness body constitution. Having dampness accumulated in the body is like having a wet towel wrapped around the body, so even after 6-8 hours of sleep, you will still feel exhausted and move like a sloth.
Losing weight is a good start, but you should primarily dispel dampness from the body first. Once you are able to get rid of the excess dampness, you should be able to shed some pounds more effectively.
Avoid consuming raw and cold foods and beverages. Instead, eat coarse grains such as rice, sweet potatoes, potatoes, white hyacinth bean, coix seed, and Chinese yam, as they could strengthen the spleen. Also, you can eat winter gourd and corn silk as they are effective in getting rid of dampness.
Do exercise and sweat regularly. If you cannot adjust your diet, drink a cup of rice water a day to strengthen the stomach and spleen and to dispel dampness from the body. Improving the body constitution can also change our personality, and with a positive change on our personality, we can change our destiny. Good luck!
Codonopsis root and poria tea with hyacinth bean coat
Effects: strengthens the qi and spleen, induces diuresis to reduce swelling.
Ingredients: 9g Codonopsis root, 6g poria, 9g hyacinth bean coat
Preparation: Cut up the ingredients and place them into thermos, rinse once with hot water, and add in hot water and steep for 15 minutes. This tea can be re-brewed until its flavor weakens. For best results, drink consecutively for 3-4 days. Two weeks for a treatment.

賴床遲到濕熱作怪
阿豬媽:「暑假過去我就開始頭痛,因為小兒賴床問題好嚴重,返學總是遲到,不知道EC有沒有方法解救?」
CheckCheckCin:小朋友賴床真的讓父母很頭痕,但除了是性格和心情影響,亦可能與體質有關!濕熱及痰濕型的小孩都容易有身體手腳沉重感覺,睡多久還是不夠,起床過程當然不會順利,加上香港天氣潮濕,會令問題加劇,就算大人有時都會感到份外疲憊。
想解決賴床問題,除了要早睡,建立良好的作息習慣外,亦可微調飲食習慣改善體質著手,腸胃濕熱型體質常出現於經常吃煎炸、油膩重口味食物或嗜甜食的小孩,容易有口氣、汗味重、大便異常地臭等,日常飲食應少吃煎炸油膩及重口味食物,甜品和生冷食物亦不宜多吃,建議多吃健脾胃食材及適當食用清熱袪濕食物,水果不妨多吃奇異果、火龍果、蘋果、西瓜等。
快速早餐煨番薯
功效:番薯健脾胃、補氣血、紓緩便秘
材料:番薯2-3隻、水適量
做法:將番薯洗淨,放入電飯煲中,加入浸至番薯1/4高度的水量,按掣(煲飯掣)開始,跳掣後再保溫焗10分鐘即成。

CheckCheckCin: Kids who have trouble waking up can be quite bothersome. Aside from temperament and personality factors, it could be related to body constitution too! Damp heat and phlegm and dampness body constitutions can cause children to have feelings of heavy limbs, tiredness despite adequate sleep so naturally, waking up can be quite the challenge. Coupled with the high humidity of Hong Kong, it can further exacerbate the issue, and even adults can have a hard time with it.
To resolve the issue, aside from sleeping early and having healthy habits, you can also try making changes in the diet. Damp heat (stomach) bodies tend to happen to those who eat fried, oily and heavy flavoured foods, or those who like sweets. It is usually accompanied with bad breath, strong body odor, smelly stool. So try to decrease consumption of these foods and have ingredients that can strengthen the spleen and stomach, clear heat and dispel dampness. Try fruits such as kiwis, dragon fruits, apples, and watermelons.
Quick breakfast- grilled sweet potatoes
Effects: sweet potatoes can strengthen the spleen and stomach, replenish qi and blood, alleviate constipation
Ingredients: 2-3 sweet potatoes, appropriate amounts of water
Preparation: rinse the sweet potatoes and place into rice cooker. Add in water until they are at about ¼ of the sweet potatoes height. Start the rice cooker and once the rice cooker stop, keep warm for another 10 minutes.

影片當中是自己在家紀錄了三天的飲食生活,想要傳遞的想法是,體重的起伏是常有的事,像我在記錄前幾天比較沒有節制了吃了很多夢幻食物哈哈~雖然體重上升,但我很開心,當你在吃完各種大餐結束後,還是一樣可以透過「飲食微調整」,短短幾天降了1.3kg,如何慎選食物進食還是非常重要的,減重也不代表一定要吃的很苦或很清淡,只要你懂得怎麼吃,一定可以慢慢變成自己想要的身型🤍

比起添加了大量奶油或糖份的台式麵包,歐式麵包一直是不萊嗯近幾年來每日早餐的固定選擇,一杯無糖黑咖啡搭配法式長棍或是巧巴達的飲食習慣已經持續了近5~6年之久。過去在台灣因為不容易買到自己喜愛的歐式麵包,或有品質很好、價格卻也偏高的條件下,在自己接觸了烘培後就開始試著做麵包給自己吃,只是那時的麵包製作技巧與知識相當貧乏,只能做出勉強合格的歐式麵包,今天這份配方就是過去自己比較常做,不過是經過微調的配方。
伯爵茶、堅果與蔓越莓是彼此相當搭稱的歐式麵包風味,不過在加拿大不萊嗯居住的地區比較少見這樣的組合,大多都圍繞在貝果、法式長棍或是巧巴達的基礎上,因為實在太想念這個好久沒機會吃到的口味,特地選在這周不買麵包,以自己手做麵包的方式回味這份想念。也藉由影片紀錄及這份食譜,跟大家說明一下想要做出外殼顏色較深的歐式麵包,並不是烤久一點、烤焦一點,而是在麵糰中添加適量的麥芽或蜂蜜來幫助顯色。
