Funky Brothers, the family that will funk your life up ! 「每一個有音樂的地方放客兄弟都不能缺席，歡樂在哪裡，放客兄弟就在哪裡！」 Some say you can control your body, but can't control your heart. The Funky Brothers not only will have you move uncontrollably, but will give you unforgettable memories! Formed about six years ago, the Funky Brothers get their inspiration from the 70~80’s, the golden age of Funk, Soul and Disco. Add some Blues, R&B, Acid Jazz or Reggae and that will give you a taste of what the Brothers mix to have the audience dance into their borderless world. The power – we might as well say the magic- of the Funky Brothers is based on a friendly groove and dedicated to anyone, to everybody, to the world, to you, to us all. The band is fronted by Lea, sharing her warmth with her powerful voice and charming smile, sometime still accompanied by Kate Tso. The Rhythmic section is based on the precision and creativity of drummer NaiYao and bassist Evel (YingMu). The multifaceted guitarist ChiuQun brings some psychedelic feeling with his solos, whatever style it could be. And to complete the funky sound, the brass section of the Funky Brothers blows some color into the music. Welcome to the family ! 成軍於2007年的放客兄弟，團員現在包含：主唱-高蕾雅、吉他手-邱群、貝斯手-櫻木 Evel、鼓手-迺耀、小號手-梁玉軒、薩克斯風手-石大麵Damien Stone、鍵盤手-捲毛Jia Wei Wang，七個人各有不同的特色，皆來自於不同的背景，但這樣的組合，配上台灣本土少有的音樂概念，豐富的演出經驗，成就了一場又一場深受好評的現場表演。現在，他們終於把他們炸翻各大場地的歌曲們錄成專輯了！ 放客兄弟FunkyBrothers，如同團名，是一個將70~80年代具有Funk精神的各種音樂類型融入其創作風格當中的樂團，從Funk/Disco/Nu-Jazz/Acid-Jazz/R&B/Reggae/Swing等等類型音樂中取得創作的養分廣度，創造出的新品種音樂不但不受限於風格的框架，重新排列組合後除了團體風格彰顯之外，更富含了多元的感覺，形成獨樹一格的「放客兄弟」版本，詞的創作上，主唱小伶在生活中取材，直接的敘述，以歡愉的氣氛訴說著人與人和萬物之間微妙的關係，值得聽友們在享受完快樂的旋律轟炸後，也可以細細的品味著背後隱含的文字力量，因為，放客兄弟希望在帶給大家歡樂之餘，也能透過音樂提醒每一個人除了關注自己之外，也要有更多的思考與關心留給自己身邊的人、事、物以及我們所生存的環境。 參加過「創作天團」選秀節目，歌曲也曾榮登「street voice街聲」的網站首頁推薦歌曲，放客兄弟的音樂實力早已在各個專業的平台受到專業音樂人的肯定，但是「叫好」的團體，很多通常都不「叫座」，放客兄弟絕對不是哪一種，每次放客兄弟的演出都讓人驚艷，現場表演的活力是他們的特色之一，沒有耍酷的外表，沒有繁縟的包裝，女主唱小伶常常脫光腳丫，彩墨往雙眼皮膚一劃，就帶領著眾家精力充沛的放客兄弟樂團成員們一躍而上舞台，滿滿的親和力與熱情就是他們最強大的舞台魅力，往往在演出的過程中，輕易的就能帶領聽眾進入他們的音樂世界，台上台下沒有距離的互動，時常讓現場情緒高漲，擅長於製造輕鬆的氣氛，加上即興的演出，音樂上總是希望讓觀眾自由擺動，加上演出時經常邀請不同的舞者一同帶動現場觀眾熱舞，每每都讓參與活動的聽眾們能夠盡興而歸，甚至意猶未盡，現在他們終於把這些曲目錄成專輯了，該是你把現場感動帶回家的時候了！ Plurk: http://www.plurk.com/funkybrothers Twitter: https://twitter.com/FunkyBrothersTW
